Following the introduction of deep search and a voice mode this summer, Mistral has unveiled several customization options for Le Chat. Like its major competitors, the French AI now boasts an extended memory that can recall user interactions to provide more relevant responses. Additionally, the startup is broadening its tool’s connectivity with a range of business tools, including CRM systems, data platforms, and payment gateways.
Like ChatGPT, Le Chat Now Features Extended Memory
The first new feature centers around the “Memories” function. This feature allows the chatbot to remember details from past conversations to deliver more tailored responses. Its purpose is to ensure conversational continuity by retrieving insights, decisions, and previous exchanges, thereby better contextualizing future responses.
Le Chat now provides more relevant answers and personalized recommendations by retrieving past information, decisions, and references. Le Chat can learn from previous interactions, helping to maintain continuity and a deeper understanding over time.
Mistral is committed to offering more robust user control than its competitors. Users can add, edit, update, or delete any interaction or entry at any time, with transparent privacy settings. According to the French startup, Le Chat offers a memory capacity “10 times greater than that of competitors for paying users and five times for free users.” This new feature joins similar initiatives deployed in France by ChatGPT in June 2025, as well as efforts by Gemini in this field.

To access “Memories” in Le Chat:
- Go to the side navigation panel and click on Intelligence,
- Then select Memories from the dropdown menu,
- You can then activate the extended memory via the three-dot menu and input your first references.
Moreover, Mistral aims to ease the transition from ChatGPT to Le Chat. Within the “Memories” setting, users can import the memory that ChatGPT has of their user profile to Le Chat by clicking the designated button and following the displayed instructions.
A Business Connector Ecosystem Designed for Enterprises
The second addition is not new but an acceleration in the area of enterprise connectors. While Le Chat could already be linked with Google Drive, SharePoint, and various email and calendar services, it can now be connected to nearly twenty different business tools. These native integrations are compatible with all MCP servers and available to free users within certain limits.
The list of connectors provides a good overview of the extensive coverage offered by Mistral: Asana, Atlassian, Box, Brevo, Cloudflare, GitHub, Linear, Monday.com, Notion, PayPal, Pinecone, Plaid, Prisma, Postgres, and Sentry are already available. More are expected to follow, with Mistral announcing the upcoming addition of Databricks, Salesforce, and Snowflake. The goal here is to reduce the fragmentation of business tools, a common issue in enterprises, by centralizing access through Le Chat to create efficient automated workflows across platforms.
Security remains our priority: administrators can manage access to connectors, ensuring that users only interact with authorized data and deploy Le Chat on-site.
