The latest firmware brings significant improvements. Display issues in Android Auto, such as less smooth visual transitions, have been fixed. Wi-Fi connection stability has also been enhanced, which minimizes disruptions and improves reliability when on the move. The update covers models from the Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 and 7a, to the recent Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel 9. Even the newly launched Pixel 9 Pro Fold benefits from these fixes, ensuring better user continuity.

In addition to these updates, Google is already preparing for the next major release with Android 16, expected to launch in a stable form this fall. A beta version, Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1, is currently being tested to refine the final details before its official release. This version also addresses some issues such as the display of buttons in settings or unwanted lock screen sounds.

These efforts demonstrate Google’s commitment to strengthening the Pixel ecosystem ahead of the upcoming Pixel 10 series, which is expected to include multiple models, including the Pixel 10 Pro and a foldable variant.
