This autumn, iPadOS 26 is set to launch, introducing a host of new features for top-tier iPads compatible with the update.
Upon release, users will immediately notice a fresh look as iPadOS 26 adopts the new Liquid Glass aesthetic that will be present across all Apple software platforms. A newly designed windowing system for iPads will give users the freedom to manipulate and resize apps as they prefer. Enhanced inter-app communication is also expected, powered by Apple’s advanced intelligence capabilities.
Even though the full version will only be available in the fall, Apple has released a public beta of iPadOS 26, which you can download today. While this public beta is generally more stable than the developer version, it’s important to remember that it could still contain glitches that may impact your device’s performance, so download with caution.
