Orange Offers a Summer Treat: Free 5G Activation
Orange is providing a delightful bonus for its customers without a default 5G plan this holiday season by offering free activation of 5G for the entire summer. However, to take advantage of this offer, subscribers need to actively request it by selecting an option in their customer account area.

Repeating a Popular Move
Similar to what was done for the 2024 Olympic Games, Orange is repeating the gesture for the summer migration this year. This allows everyone to access the fastest network available from the operator at no additional cost. This special promotion will last until September 8, 2025, covering the holiday period for most vacationers.
To activate the service, subscribers must log into their Orange customer space and enable the option named “Découverte 5G” from the list of available options.
However, there is a slight limitation. The offer is exclusive to Orange subscribers and does not extend to customers of its low-cost subsidiary, Sosh, unlike last year. Also, there is no clear information whether the 5G access provided includes 5G+ or standalone 5G (5G SA).
