On Tuesday at the Cannes Lions event, Adobe unveiled its latest application named LLM Optimizer. This tool is designed to help businesses improve their search engine optimization (SEO) across generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, which are increasingly becoming a significant part of web SEO strategies. LLM Optimizer: A SEO Assistant for ChatGPT
Can conversational agents challenge the dominance of Google Search in the SEO realm? While Google Search remains the primary focus for SEO experts, the traffic coming from generative AIs like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity is skyrocketing. Adobe has taken note of this trend.
Adobe Analytics insights reveal an increase of 3,200% in traffic to travel websites and 3,500% to US retail sites from July 2024 to May 2025, driven by generative AI sources, which offer purchase advice, good ideas, and promotions, according to the press release.
With the launch of LLM Optimizer, which allows companies to “track the traffic generated by AI, while also receiving actionable recommendations instantly on their digital channels to enhance visibility,” Adobe is expanding its scope. Until now, the company had only touched on the topic of SEO through its Adobe Experience Cloud marketing solution.
What Does LLM Optimizer Offer?
Specifically, the LLM Optimizer aids in monitoring your SEO performance as well as enhancing your content to maximize visibility in responses. The platform enables you to:
- Optimize your existing content to appear on ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, and others.
- Understand how conversational agents are representing your brand in their content.

- Enhance the content most frequently mentioned by AIs to decrease bounce rates.

Adobe also notes that the tool is “designed to integrate into the existing workflows of SEO managers, content strategy specialists, digital marketing managers, and website publishers.” Available as a standalone product, it will also be natively integrated into Adobe Experience Manager Sites and can be linked to other CMS or content management systems via APIs.
