The Samsung TMR75R95H television is part of a deliberate strategy of technological innovation by the Korean manufacturer. After popularizing Mini LED with its Neo QLED ranges, Samsung introduced a TV model equipped with the new RGB Mini LED backlight technology (which Samsung markets under the name “Micro RGB”) within the 115R95F with a diagonal of 115 inches.
Now, the Korean brand offers more reasonable and therefore more accessible sizes. The R95H series is considered high-end at Samsung. It is available in France in four sizes: 65, 75, 85, and 115 inches. Compared to OLED, the promise of Micro RGB is clear: significantly superior daylight brightness, no risk of screen burn-in, and an even wider color gamut. Additionally, it features a Glare Free anti-reflective filter, which is also found on Samsung’s OLED models.
Furthermore, the TV comes with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, comprehensive connectivity, a refresh rate that can reach 165 Hz, an interesting design with a central stand, the Tizen OS system for multimedia content, a dash of artificial intelligence for image optimization and conversational agents, as well as compatibility with Dolby Atmos and Eclipsa Audio. Let’s see what this TV is really worth and if it lives up to its promises.

Samsung 75R95HDesign, Easy-to-Assemble Central Stand
The Samsung TMR75R95H TV (that’s its reference) adopts the “Infinity Air Design” style that characterizes the Samsung premium series of 2026. The overall design is simple, elegant, and refined, with an almost non-existent frame (only 2 mm) that effectively disappears to highlight the image. The front of the TV is thus entirely occupied by the panel, with only a very fine black band on all four sides.
Regarding the stand, it is very easy to assemble as it simply snaps into the designated slots from the back. No screws or other accessories are necessary, which is particularly convenient. The stand is central. Count on a base 35.5 cm wide by 35.5 cm deep. Once installed, the screen is raised 5 cm above the furniture (6 cm if you include the line under the screen). The flat character of the front of the stand allows for a soundbar to be placed there, if needed. Moreover, Samsung smartly positions the infrared module on the side, not obstructing either turning off or turning on. Note the presence of a mirror at the foot level, giving the impression that the screen is floating.
For those who wish to mount the TV on the wall, it is entirely possible, using a suitable support (VESA 400×400), especially since Samsung has designed the back of the TV to be perfectly “flush with the wall.”
The panel itself is about 3 cm thick, which is reasonable for a product incorporating a Micro RGB backlight, which is naturally bulkier than a simple matrix of LEDs behind the glass.
The Glare Free anti-reflective coating deserves special mention. It’s the same as found on the S99H, for example, as well as other TVs from the brand. In my opinion, it is a real asset for use in rooms where multiple light sources are present. It perfectly erases any natural or artificial light.
Samsung optionally offers its external One Connect box, which consolidates all connectivity with a wireless connection to the TV for an even neater wall installation, for example. Only the power cable to the screen is then necessary. Below, the connection module plugs into the TV chassis.
Samsung 75R95HConnectivity, Everything You Need
The connectivity of the TMR75R95H is really comprehensive and meets the ambitions of the product. There are four HDMI 2.1 inputs, all capable of handling 4K at 120 Hz, with support for VRR up to 165 Hz and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). One of the four HDMI ports features the eARC function, allowing for the transmission of Dolby Atmos audio to a soundbar or an amplifier in maximum quality, without loss of audio data.
There are two USB ports, in USB 2.0 Type-A format, which is sufficient for connecting a USB stick or an external hard drive. A digital optical audio output completes the panel, useful for audio systems that do not have an HDMI ARC input. A wired Ethernet port is also present for those who prefer a stable network connection over Wi-Fi.
On the wireless side, the TV features Wi-Fi 6E for significant network speeds, Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio for pairing with headphones or speakers, and compatibility with AirPlay 2 for Apple device users. The optional wireless One Connect box adds four more HDMI 2.1 ports, bringing the total to eight HDMI inputs, a strong argument for households with a lot of sources.
The triple tuner configuration is present: DVB-T2 (digital terrestrial), DVB-S2 (satellite), and DVB-C (cable), with Fransat certification, for users wishing to receive HD digital terrestrial television via satellite.
The Remote Control
The remote control provided with the TV is the Premium Smart Control, Samsung’s high-end model now offered as standard on all the brand’s premium series. It is Bluetooth with great compactness, remarkable thinness, a pleasant grip, and, importantly, incorporates a small solar panel on the back for maintaining the charge. Otherwise, count on a USB-C port for fully recharging its battery.
There is still no backlighting, but the keys are well organized, so the ergonomics are relatively easy nonetheless. The agenda includes a microphone for voice commands and compatibility with the Bixby and Alexa assistants. Naturally, there are also quick access buttons for the Samsung TV Plus, Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube platforms.
Samsung 75R95HSubjective Image Mode
The Samsung TMR75R95H is based on an LCD panel, backlit by a matrix of RGB LEDs with exceptional density. Unlike traditional Mini LED panels that use white LEDs coupled with a quantum filter, Micro RGB uses triads of red, green, and blue LEDs measuring 90 micrometers each, allowing them to directly emit primary colors without conversion or color loss.
The Micro RGB AI Engine Pro processor orchestrates all image processing, including 4K AI Upscaling Pro based on 128 neural networks, Ultimate Micro Dimming Pro for fine control of the backlight zone by zone, and Auto HDR Remastering Pro to enrich non-native HDR content. The TV also features Filmmaker Mode, which disables all extraneous processing to reproduce the image as it was mastered by content creators.
In use, the image is immediately impressive. On test sequences in 4K HDR10+ from Blu-ray movies like Pan or Alpha or Netflix productions offered in Dolby Vision—though this format is not natively supported, Auto HDR Remastering Pro does a very convincing job—the color richness is something not found on traditional Mini LED TVs.
The colors are both intense and natural, without the excessive saturation sometimes criticized in lower-range Samsung TVs.
Content from Disney+ and Prime Video in 4K HDR10+ particularly benefits from the format, which offers dynamic management of metadata.
The depth of dark scenes is excellent for an LCD, although it still falls short of the infinite contrast of an OLED. Sky gradients or night scenes show very satisfactory uniformity, without visible halos around bright areas, which is one of the persistent flaws of Mini LEDs. The blooming effect is very well controlled.
I did not notice any posterization effects on this model. Color gradients are almost perfect.
Samsung 75R95HMeasurements, Probes Included
Unsurprisingly, I was able to perform excellent measurements on this TV. Always with the default image settings, Filmmaker mode activated, I noted good respect for whites with an average gamma of 2.48, thus slightly above the threshold but within the acceptable limit. The average color temperature is 6139 K, according to my measurements with quite little chromatic drift. This is quite correct.
Moreover, the average Delta E is only 2.13, thus below the threshold of 3 under which the human eye can no longer distinguish the difference between the displayed color and the requested color. Cinema mode is quite correct too with values quite close to those I was able to record in Filmmaker mode.
