On Tuesday, Google Labs unveiled an experimental tool that synthesizes your daily tasks by analyzing your documents, emails, and calendar. This tool, introduced on December 16, 2025, is named CC and is described as a new AI agent focused on enhancing productivity, designed to help users stay organized and complete their tasks, according to a blog post by Google.

Every morning, CC provides users with a morning briefing that summarizes the day’s tasks and appointments, a concept very similar to ChatGPT Pulse, a product that OpenAI launched in September.
An AI Agent Built on Gemini and Integrated with Gmail, Drive, and Calendar
Still in its experimental phase and developed by Google Labs, CC operates on the Gemini platform and is directly linked to Google’s services such as Gmail, Drive, and Calendar. Each morning, after reviewing your calendar, documents, and emails, it creates a clear summary of the upcoming day—dubbed “Your Day Ahead”—and sends it straight to your inbox, as mentioned in the blog article.
Furthermore, since CC is also web-connected, it can notify you of various actionable items such as bills that need to be paid, upcoming deliveries, documents requiring signatures, or reservations that need to be made. Tasks are sorted into categories like ‘Top of Mind’ and ‘FYI’ based on their priority. All your appointments for the day are also listed in the summary under the ‘On Your Calendar’ section, along with their durations.

In addition to organizing your activities, this AI agent can also take proactive steps by drafting emails or creating calendar events, as noted by the company. Unlike ChatGPT Pulse, from which CC seems to draw inspiration, CC does more than just deliver a personalized briefing.
Moreover, you can interact with CC by responding to it or sending a direct email with personalized requests, providing information about yourself, or asking it to remember ideas and tasks, Google adds.
How to Access CC, Google’s Productivity AI Agent?
According to Google’s blog post, CC is currently in its experimental stage and is being refined before its official launch. The tool was made available in early access this Tuesday to users in the United States and Canada. A waiting list has been set up for paying subscribers who are 18 years old or older. Google has not specified a date for the global rollout of the tool.
