Apple Gears Up for Exciting Launch of New Siri Version

Apple is gearing up for the highly anticipated release of its latest Siri version, powered by Gemini, set to be showcased at the WWDC on June 8 alongside other iOS 27 updates. In preparation, Apple disclosed to Axios that it has hired Lilian Rincon, who was formerly the Vice President of Product for Google Shopping and has experience at Microsoft and Skype. Rincon will now lead the product marketing for Apple’s artificial intelligence.

Strategic Hire Under Senior Leadership

Lilian Rincon will report directly to Greg Joswiak, Apple’s head of marketing, highlighting the significance of her role and the critical need to promote future features of Apple Intelligence. Apple appears to be adopting a novel approach by enabling Siri to delegate tasks to any other AI, while transforming the voice assistant into a chatbot deeply integrated with various applications, potentially revolutionizing user interactions.
