Apple CEO Tim Cook’s tweet along-with first photos of the live event are now appearing in chronological order on Apple’s website. The company has truly revamped the way it is handling media and promoting the event this year. From inviting journalists from the fashion world to featuring live streaming of the event on its homepage and now posting live photos from the event before it begins. This is the new Apple PR.
Looking forward to a great day in Cupertino! Join us at 10am Pacific. #AppleLive

In case you missed it, Apple will unveil two new phones at todays event. The iPhone 6 featuring 4.7 inch display and iPhone 6 plus with 5.5 inch display. It is widely believed that in addition to the event focusing on iPhone launch the company will also unveil the smart watch that the company has been working on for the past few years.
iWatch will mark the first new product category Apple is getting into since Steve Jobs. Many tech pundits had doubts about Apple’s future and often commented that the company lacks inspiration and innovation. Apple TV was touted to be the new product category that Apple will be foraying into, however it seems that it may have to wait for a bit longer.
Apple is leaving no stone unturned to create a hype around the iPhone 6 and iWatch keynote event. During a media conference Apple’s SVP of Internet Software and Services said, “later this year, we’ve got the best product pipeline that I’ve seen at Apple in my 25 years at Apple”. The day has finally arrived where we will finally get to see what Apple has in store for its customer and if it truly is the best product lineup Apple has brought to the market in 25 years.

]]> https://touchreviews.net/iphone-6-live-keynote-event-apple-posts-first-photos/feed/ 0Apple’s WWDC 2013 keynote event will go live today at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, will kick off the event with a keynote presentation at 10 AM Pacific Time.
At this years Worldwide Developers Conference Apple will unveil iOS 7 and the next major release for OS X. A live video stream of the keynote event will be available at Apple’s website and requires Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. The company has added a new section for streaming via Apple TV and requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later to stream the event.
iOS 7 will be the first release that has been developed under the leadership of Jony Ive, SVP of Industrial Design, as Apple fired Scott Forstall allegedly over Apple maps fiasco and an internal divide over the skeuomorphic design elements. In addition to a redesign iOS 7 is expected to open new API’s for developers giving more control over features and could also introduce AirDrop for iOS to make sharing between iOS devices easier.
No details have been available about what’s new in OS X. Apple usually previews new version of OS X earlier in the year however, it is believed that the company had to pull engineers from OS X team to work on iOS 7.
Banners for iOS 7 and OS X suggest a clean and flat design for the upcoming update. Apple is expected to release the software updates later this fall. Apple’s online store is down at the time of writing which suggests that the rumors about possible MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models could turn out to be true.

]]> https://touchreviews.net/wwdc-2013-ios-7-live-keynote-event-video-stream/feed/ 2Over the weekend the banners for iOS 7 and the next major version of OS X went up at the Moscone Center where Apple’s WWDC 2013 keynote event will be delivered.
This is the first time we are getting a preview of any promotional material for iOS 7 and OS 10.9. The banner for iOS 7 shows the number 7 written on a plain white background. The number 7 appears to be “flat” devoid of any 3D textures or imitating real life elements. This design language seems to confirm rumors and reports about Apple’s next major mobile software release to be “flat” in design and feature a complete re-design of the OS. The font used in the banner appears to be Helvetica Neue Ultra Light, which is a very thin variant of the popular Helvetica font.
The banner for the next release of OS X, mentions “X” in Helvetica Neue Ultra Light font but features a colorful “wave” background. After viewing these banners it is easy to assume that in addition to the new features the software release will introduce a re-design of the UI elements and the user experience.
Apple’s WWDC 2013 keynote event will go live today at 10 AM (Pacific Time) as Tim Cook will take the stage to announce the future of mobile and desktop operating systems.

At this years WWDC Apple will announce the next major software updates iOS 7 and OS X 10.9.

More than 5000 developers attend the conference every year and Apple uses this as a platform to announce the latest mobile and desktop operating systems. In addition to previewing the future of iOS and OS X Apple will also share beta versions of the software with the developers to test the upcoming updates.
According to the rumors and reports we’ve reported in the past Apple is widely expected to unveil a redesigned version of iOS with a flatter design that lacks glossy look and 3D textures. The company could also announce new MacBook Air and Pro models during the keynote.
We’re not expecting any new iPhone during the WWDC as the focus of the entire conference will be software related. It’s not clear if Apple will live stream the event however, we will be bringing you all-in-one live feed of the keynote event as it goes live on June 10.

During this years live keynote event Apple is widely expected to unveil iOS 6, new MacBook Pro models and provide an update on OS X Mountain Lion.
Touch Reviews will be bringing you the All-in-One live feed of the keynote so you can sit back and know what’s the latest without refreshing this page. iOS 6 is the sixth version of Apple’s mobile operating system and is expected to bring many new features and enhancements that could include, deep Facebook integration, updated Siri, iCloud feature update and much more.
While in 2011 Apple’s WWDC keynote event was all about software, this year the company is rumored to introduce new MacBook Pro models and for the first time bring ‘Retina Display’ to the MacBook product line. The new models have been speculated to have design similar to MacBook Air however, the next gen MacBook Pro models could see a significant price increase.
iOS devices contribute towards the largest chunk of Apple’s revenue share so it’s safe to assume that the focus of this years WWDC live keynote event will certainly be iOS 6. During All Things D’s D8 Conference Tim Cook gave subtle hints by saying “stay tuned” when he was questioned about Facebook integration and Siri. So, we can expect those two enhancements to certainly be a part of iOS 6.

iPad 3 is rumored to use Dual-Core A5X SoC that will not only be faster but also deliver enhanced graphics and include 1GB RAM. The design is not expected to see major changes however, it is believed that the new iPad will be 0.8 mm thicker when compared with the second gen tablet.
Apple could share an update related to iOS 5.1 software update and could announce its immediate availability. While we haven’t heard about any conclusive evidence which points to inclusion of Siri in iPad 3 Apple could be looking at bringing the “personal voice assistant” to the tablet.

Steve Jobs is widely expected to refresh the iPod lineup during the keynote event. There have been many evidences reported earlier which suggest that Apple will introduce the new iPod touch 4G with a front facing camera for FaceTime, retina display and Apple’s custom A4 processor.
A smaller device with touch controls often referred to as the iWatch might turn out to be iPod shuffle or nano with touch screen. We have been discussing live streaming services for iTunes and it would be interesting to see if Apple will discuss the any updates.
iOS 4.0 for iPad has been in works since a long time and the update might be made available today.

]]> https://touchreviews.net/live-keynote-apple-event-ipod-touch-4g/feed/ 3Everyone is excited about Apple’s upcoming media event on the 1st of September. From the invite it certainly looks as if the focus is on music. Steve Jobs is widely expected to finally reveal the new iPod touch 4G and the new iPod line up during the live live keynote presentation.
You may remember that a while ago we theorized that a shot of a leaked Apple component may give us some idea of Apple’s plans for an updated iPod Shuffle.
iLounge have got hold of some images of what looks a little like an iPhone Bumper style case with a clear back. Perhaps for the new iPod Touch 4G. The back of the case clearly has holes for a camera, and is curved slightly suggesting that new iPods will keep a similar design to earlier models, rather than follow the new iPhone 4 hard lines.
Alongside those they have a small square case which almost perfectly matches the form factor of the 1.8 inch x 1.8 inch screen that some theorise is the screen for an updated iPod Nano.
Could we see this at the September 1st event? Let us know your thoughts in the comments…

Apple is widely rumored to announce the new iPhone 4G / HD, introduce new cloud based services and provide an update about iPhone OS 4.0 during Steve Jobs live keynote event.
