Test Samsung Galaxy S23

The One UI 8 update is now rolling out to the Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and several other smartphones and tablets.

The release of the One UI 8 update is picking up speed. The update began rolling out in its stable version on the Galaxy S25 two weeks ago. Then, a week ago, three additional models were updated with the latest iteration of the software overlay, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The manufacturer continues to maintain momentum by launching One UI 8 on new devices.

Among the high-end models, the update has arrived for the Galaxy S23 series, as noted by Tarun Vats, a One UI specialist. Initially, users who had registered for the One UI 8 beta are receiving this first stable release. Gradually, the rollout will expand to all users, whether they participated in the beta or not, across all countries.

One UI 8 Expands Across Dozens of Samsung Devices

The foldable smartphones are also being updated, with the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 now eligible for the update. Once again, South Korea is receiving priority, but expect One UI 8 to be available in your area in the coming days. The Galaxy Z Fold SE was briefly on the list of devices receiving the update, but Samsung has paused the rollout of One UI 8 on this model for now due to user feedback about a bug with the touchscreen.

Samsung has not forgotten about its tablets; the Tab S10 Ultra and Tab S10+ are also receiving the upgrade to One UI 8. As for mid-range smartphones, the update has been spotted on the Galaxy A55, A36, and A35. More models are expected to be supported in the coming days and weeks.
