Videos Take the Lead on LinkedIn
Following the success of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and more recently, YouTube Shorts, it’s both natural and logical for videos to start appearing on LinkedIn. According to Metricool’s research, videos are now the most engaging type of content on the social network, particularly within the app.
In its report on the results from the last quarter of 2024, Microsoft confirmed this trend, noting a significant increase in engagement rates. Video impressions have increased by 73%, with views up by 52%. Not only are impressions and views on the rise overall, but interactions have also increased significantly.
Surveys See a Sharp Increase
Experiencing a 206% increase year over year, surveys still hold tremendous potential on LinkedIn. These types of posts are currently underutilized, yet they are now generating record levels of engagement on the platform.
Metricool’s analysis points out that these posts allow businesses to engage with their audience much more quickly, especially on the app, where mobile users can participate in surveys with just a click.
