Free continues to disrupt the market with its latest offering, the Free TV app, providing nearly 200 free channels to all internet users, including non-Free customers.
Free is relentless in rolling out free and innovative features. Just last month, Free Mobile subscribers were treated to a free VPN service included in their plans—a global first that was well received. However, that was just the beginning. Now, the internet service provider has introduced Free TV. This new app revolutionizes how users access TV channels.

The concept is straightforward: anyone can download and use the Free TV app for free, even those who are not Free customers. The app provides access to 170 channels, including the 16 terrestrial digital channels. Additionally, there are 25,000 on-demand programs and a library named Free Ciné that includes over 500 movies and 1,000 TV show episodes.

Adding to the appeal: features like live control and the ability to restart shows from the beginning are included, setting the stage to potentially worry other major players in this arena such as Molotov.
Free TV app is available to everyone, whether a Free subscriber or not
The Free TV app aims to be universally accessible. This means it is available on smartphones, tablets, connected TVs, Android TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and more. There are two distinct plans summarized below. Apart from the free option, the Free TV+ plan costs 0.99 euros per month for the first year, then 5.99 euros per month offering 300 channels, 45,000 replays, recording capabilities, and video on demand.
If you are already a Free customer, here’s some good news: “The Free TV+ offer is included for Freebox subscribers with TV service and mobile subscribers with the Free 5G plan and Free Mobile series.” In this case, you’ll notice that the OQEE app will be rebranded as Free TV. It’s important to note that you must first update your Free TV 4K Player or Player Pop before you can access Free TV+. The app will be globally available throughout the day on October 21, 2025, although the exact time has not been specified.
