Apple TV+ Triumphs: “The Studio” and “Severance” Win Big at the Emmy Awards!

Last night marked the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Apple TV+, having set a personal record with 81 nominations across 14 original productions, ultimately walked away with 22 awards.

The Studio dominated the event, clinching 13 Emmys—the most for any series this year—including Best Comedy. Seth Rogen won Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of Matt Remick. Both Rogen and Evan Goldberg earned the Best Directing for a Comedy Series award for the episode The Oner, which was notably shot in a single continuous take. Additionally, the episode The Promotion received the award for Best Comedy Writing. Severance garnered 8 awards, with Britt Lower winning Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Helly R., and Tramell Tillman taking home Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Seth Milchick. Slow Horses also claimed a victory with the Best Directing for a Drama Series award for the episode Hello Goodbye.
