The launch follows closely on the heels of Anthropic’s recent expansion of its Claude Startups program, which was briefly halted after overwhelming interest. Adobe frames its offer around the day-to-day reality of many founders, noting that small teams frequently handle the creation of pitch decks, websites and marketing campaigns themselves.
Free access to Firefly, Acrobat Studio and Semrush for one year
Startups accepted into Adobe for Startups receive a year-long complimentary subscription to a set of creative, document and marketing tools:

- Adobe Firefly Pro Plus: Adobe’s AI-powered creative suite for generating images, video and audio. The Pro Plus plan aggregates Adobe’s own models with partner models and includes web and mobile versions of Photoshop.
- Acrobat Studio: Adobe’s PDF platform enhanced with an AI assistant to edit and distribute documents, extract key data, build presentations and collect digital signatures.
- Adobe Express Premium: Bundled with Acrobat Studio, this tool helps produce social-media posts and marketing assets quickly using templates and simple design controls.
- Semrush: The SEO and marketing analytics platform that Adobe said it agreed to acquire in November 2025. Semrush tracks a brand’s visibility across traditional search engines and within AI-generated responses.

Beyond software access, the program offers workshops, events and connections with other founders and Adobe specialists. One hands-on session titled “Brand on Demand” is scheduled for December 3 with Artist and the Machine; attendees will use Adobe’s AI tools to create a week’s worth of branded marketing content live during the workshop.
Two eligibility rules to join the startup program
To qualify, startups must meet two conditions: they need to be no more than five years old and have raised less than $15 million in funding.
Companies based in France are eligible to apply via an online application form; Adobe will verify each applicant’s eligibility during the enrollment process. According to the program’s FAQ, the complimentary package covers up to five seats per team, with additional seats available for purchase.
Adobe also notes that program-specific terms and country-based restrictions apply, though it did not provide detailed information about those limits in the announcement.
