Setup
Setting up the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is straightforward. Right out of the box, the device is almost ready to use since there are no complex parts to assemble or mops to manually attach. Connecting to Wi-Fi takes only a moment through the dedicated Roborock app by simply scanning the QR code located under the hood.
On its very first launch, the robot performs a quick mapping of your home using its laser rangefinder, automatically identifying different rooms and floor types.
In about fifteen minutes, the device is set up, the water tanks are filled, and it is ready to start its first cleaning mission autonomously.
Ergonomics and Design
From a purely aesthetic viewpoint, the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow continues the line of its range with a sleek design and an elegant white finish. Having used the first Qrevo Curv for a year, the two robot vacuums look very similar.
The docking station retains the rounded dome shape, housing the generous clean and dirty water tanks under its upper lid. The dust bag also finds its place in this multifunctional base.
One physical limitation of the robot is its thickness. Unlike thinner models on the market, this robot is nearly 12 centimeters thick (11.9 cm) due to its fixed LiDAR dome that does not retract. This height unfortunately prevents it from sliding under many low furniture pieces, such as beds, sofas, or suspended toilets, thus mechanically limiting its cleaning coverage in certain rooms.

Under the chassis, the ergonomics have been completely redesigned to accommodate the large SpiraFlow roller. It also houses the main DuoDivide brush, consisting of two slatted rollers designed to prevent hair tangling, as well as two rotating side brushes to sweep up crumbs. A clever sliding hatch, named Roller Shield, has been specifically integrated to physically cover the wet roller as the robot crosses a carpet.
The device features very simple physical controls on its lid (a power button and a return-to-base button), with most interactions managed via smartphone. Although the roller can extend slightly to clean along the walls, the robot maintains a small safety margin that prevents it from achieving perfectly edge-to-edge cleaning. The absence of an extendable arm for the rotating brushes is regrettable, as it would have more effectively tackled dust trapped in corners of the house.

In terms of suction, the 20,000 Pa power provides a very correct strike force for regular home maintenance.
On hard surfaces like tiles or wooden floors, the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow picks up dust, debris, and pet hair with ease.
The DuoDivide system fulfills its promises: long dog hairs or human hair are efficiently directed towards the center without ever tangling around the axis, greatly alleviating manual maintenance.
The navigation, managed by the PreciSense LiDAR system coupled with Reactive AI technology, is methodical and intelligent on a daily basis. The robot maps the environment in real time, recognizes over 200 types of objects (cables, shoes, toys) and avoids them with impressive assurance in cluttered rooms.
Although it may sometimes hesitate in front of very small objects or dark chair legs, it covers the space logically, provided door thresholds do not exceed 2.5 centimeters in height.
The real challenge for this model lies in the washing performance of its SpiraFlow roller, which spins at 220 revolutions per minute applying a 15 Newton pressure. On fresh dirt or just-spilled liquids, the results are excellent and often superior to those of traditional rotating pads. The continuous rinsing system, powered by eight water jets and paired with a scraper, ensures that the roller remains clean throughout the cycle, thereby preventing the spread of dirt from one room to another.
However, the roller’s effectiveness shows real weaknesses against ingrained or older stains. Dried ketchup or old coffee stains often resist the robot’s pass, sometimes requiring multiple passes or prior manual intervention. Despite the presence of DirTect technology, which attempts to adapt the device’s behavior to liquids (by raising the suction brushes), the roller does not perform miracles on very stubborn dirt that would require a more aggressive mechanical action.
Carpet treatment, on the other hand, is an undeniable success and very reassuring for the user. Thanks to the Roller Shield mechanism, the robot raises its roller by 15 millimeters and seals it hermetically behind a hatch as soon as it detects a textile surface. This ensures that your thick carpets or living room rugs are never moistened by mistake, correcting a flaw still too common among many competitors equipped with rollers.
Finally, the battery life is generous, easily covering about 100 m² in a single standard cycle. If energy runs low during a major clean, the device returns to its charging station before resuming work exactly where it left off.
App
The Roborock app is one of the absolute market leaders, featuring a very intuitive interface with impressive customization depth.
It allows for precise mapping editing, creating specific routines, adjusting water flow, or even using the “Hello Rocky” voice assistant, which works even without Wi-Fi.
The SmartPlan function intelligently adjusts cleaning autonomously, while the integrated camera offers the ability to monitor your home remotely or check why the robot has stopped, providing absolute control at your fingertips.

The promise of a high-end robot is to minimize human intervention, and the docking station handles this very efficiently.
Once the cycle is complete, it empties the dust into a bag ensuring weeks of autonomy, and proceeds to wash the roller with hot water (75°C) to dissolve fats. This is followed by a hot air drying cycle (55°C) essential to prevent mold growth, although this process emits a slight continuous hum of about 45 dB which can be noticeable if the station is in the living area.
Manual maintenance, necessary from time to time, is very well thought out and facilitated by the modularity of the components. The Roller Shield shield is easily removable, the station’s tray is fully detachable for rinsing in the sink, and the roller’s motor pivots to offer direct access.
The only real regular constraints will be to fill the clean water tank, diligently empty the dirty water tank to avoid bad odors, and occasionally check for small objects that might be blocked. Not to mention cleaning the filter from time to time.

Positioned in the high-end segment, the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is launched at a price of €699. It is a paradoxically very competitive price compared to many ultra-premium models that easily reach around 1000 euros.
