Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 ProA Unique Yet Unchanged Appearance
The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro maintains the iconic design of the Qrevo Curv, staying true to its philosophy of rounded lines. Its docking station presents a soft and elegant silhouette with shiny white plastic that blends seamlessly into a modern interior. Like the first model, it almost entirely covers the robot, providing both increased discretion and enhanced protection from dust. At first glance, it’s even hard to differentiate the two models as their aesthetics are very similar.
Under its top cover, it features the same functional organization: a 4 L clean water tank, a 3.5 L dirty water tank, and a top-accessible dust bag compartment. Unlike other Roborock models, this setup consolidates everything under one lid for simpler access and a visually cleaner appearance. However, there is no integrated detergent reservoir: it must be manually added to the clean water tank.
The robot itself has a compact chassis about 35 cm in diameter and less than 8 cm high, made possible by a retractable LiDAR dome that allows the robot to fit under low furniture and hanging toilets.
The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro retains two rotating mops, one of which can extend to clean effectively along baseboards. Its side brush is now extendable and slightly curved, enabling it to collect dust from corners and along walls without entangling pet hair and human hair. Finally, the suction relies on the DuoDivide rollers, with two hybrid rollers combining stiff bristles and rubber parts designed to minimize hair entanglement and effectively capture dust and debris.
Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 ProAn Extremely Comprehensive App
During the initial setup, the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro starts by mapping your home. It can even automatically distinguish different rooms, such as the bedroom, kitchen, or living room. The generated map can then be refined by redefining partitions, adding no-go zones, placing virtual furniture, or indicating the type of flooring. The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro can store up to four distinct maps and automatically recognizes the one corresponding to its environment, which is convenient in a multi-story house.
You can customize numerous cleaning settings: suction power, mop dampness level, or the sequence of cleaning room by room. These settings can be applied to the entire house or tailored room by room. The SmartPlan mode intelligently adjusts the settings based on the encountered conditions and the type of room to avoid having to manage them manually.

The app also allows you to control numerous advanced parameters, such as the temperature and frequency of mop washing, as well as the drying duration. Similarly, the behavior of the extendable brushes and retractable LiDAR can be adjusted according to your needs, as well as the sensitivity of the obstacle detection. You can even schedule recharging during specific time slots, for example during off-peak hours, to optimize power consumption.
Rug management is also customizable: the robot can raise its pads to avoid them, leave them in the station to prevent wetting thick rugs, completely bypass them, or alternatively clean them according to your preferences. Moreover, the chassis can automatically raise itself to better adhere to the fibers of thick carpets, allowing for better suction.
The onboard camera adds a remote surveillance function, with two-way audio, as well as the ability to photograph detected obstacles to place them on the map. Plus, it offers the ability to locate your pet and even receive pictures of it during cleaning.
Last but not least, the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro is compatible with major voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa. It even has its own integrated voice assistant, Hello Rocky, allowing you to command it directly by voice. This one is particularly effective, and the robot even turns towards you to better “hear” you when you use it.
We should also mention the embedded Matter compatibility, facilitating the integration of the robot into a home automation ecosystem.
Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 ProA Thorough and Detailed Cleaning
The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro impresses with its suction power reaching 25,000 Pa, one of the highest levels on the market. This allows it to effortlessly remove dust, pet hair, or debris, whether on hard floors or embedded in carpets. In SmartPlan mode, the robot automatically adjusts the power based on the detected floor type and dirt level, switching from a gentler mode on hardwood floors to enhanced suction on rugs and carpets.
The DuoDivide main brush has been designed to maximize efficiency while reducing maintenance. Its two hybrid rollers, mixing rubber and stiff bristles, direct dirt towards the center and limit hair entanglements. The system is complemented by a side brush capable of extending to collect dust along walls and in corners, allowing for almost complete floor coverage.
For floor mopping, the Curv 2 Pro uses two rotating mops that exert a pressure of 12 N, allowing it to tackle tough stains. Additionally, in addition to being able to wash the mops at 100 ºC before, during, and after each cycle, the station recharges the robot’s water tank with hot water, enabling it to wash floors with high-temperature water, thus enhancing its effectiveness against greasy or dried stains. However, you will need to manually add detergent to the clean water tank, as the station does not have a cleaning solution reservoir.
In real-world conditions, the results are excellent. The robot manages to eliminate most everyday stains in a single pass, whether they are footprints or paw prints, dust, or small kitchen mishaps. For tougher stains like dried coffee or certain greases, a second pass may be necessary. Nevertheless, thanks to its sensors, the robot is capable of identifying dirtier areas, going back over them if necessary to completely remove them. The extendable mop, meanwhile, allows it to reach corners and run along baseboards, areas often overlooked by other robots.
In the event of liquid spills or sauce stains, the robot knows how to identify them and automatically raises its chassis while first passing the mop. It then returns to clean them before resuming cleaning. The only downside: the robot cannot raise its suction brushes or side brush, which means they can get soiled by liquids or dirt.
Despite its power, the Curv 2 Pro remains relatively quiet and does not interfere with working or watching TV. The Do Not Disturb mode even allows you to disable certain noisy operations like emptying the dust bag or washing the mops at set times.
Regarding autonomy, the robot exceeds 180 minutes, which is sufficient to cover an area of more than 60 m² without interruption. In case the battery runs out, the robot automatically returns to its station to recharge before resuming cleaning exactly where it left off.
Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 ProAdvanced and Nearly Flawless Navigation
The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro features a particularly advanced navigation system for a mid-range model. It adopts a different approach from traditional models equipped with a fixed dome. Here, the LiDAR is retractable: it automatically lowers to allow the robot to fit under certain furniture without compromising the accuracy of the mapping. This system is accompanied by two additional sensors located on the top. One measures the available height to prevent the robot from engaging under an overly low space, while the other, a contact sensor, ensures it does not collide with furniture when moving in tighter areas.
In practice, this combination of retractable LiDAR and upper sensors makes navigation both precise and more suited to interiors where low furniture is common. The robot manages to orient itself effectively, adjusts its trajectories in real-time, and avoids getting stuck. Its front sensors, including a camera and structured light, also allow it to identify and circumvent the majority of obstacles, including small objects like cables or toys. In most cases, it approaches obstacles closely enough to clean right up to them while avoiding collisions. Additionally, it automatically takes pictures of obstacles and indicates them on the map, so you can locate them on the app.
Thanks to its AdaptiLift chassis, the robot is capable of overcoming thresholds up to about 4 cm, and passes from one room to another without difficulty, even when the floor has slight level differences. However, it sometimes tends to try climbing onto furniture legs when it would be preferable to bypass them.
Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 ProVery Simple Maintenance
The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro is designed to minimize maintenance tasks as much as possible. The docking station plays a central role by automating the maintenance of the mops. These are washed with boiling water at 100 ºC before, during, and after each cleaning cycle, allowing for the removal of ingrained dirt and bacteria. Moreover, a soaking mode helps tackle embedded dirt without having to wash the mop pads in the machine. At the end of each cycle, the pads are dried with hot air at 55 ºC, helping to prevent the growth of mold and bad odors.
The station goes further by also offering a dust bag drying function, preventing moisture from accumulating to avoid bad odors.
The cleaning of the mops is done on a washing board that has been revised. It is still removable, but no longer equipped with integrated scrapers. Indeed, its new design allows for deeper scrubbing of the pads, which helps keep them clean, even after several cycles, without needing to put them in the machine. However, it is better to remove the washing board and clean it in the sink about once a month to prevent it from getting dirty. Nevertheless, an automatic maintenance mode is offered in the app, allowing the robot and the station to clean themselves without your intervention, although this does not replace, in my humble opinion, a thorough manual cleaning.
