Apple’s Anticipated Foldable iPhone Set for a September Release
Apple is on the brink of unveiling its foldable iPhone this coming September, potentially setting new price records in the process. The consensus among tech insiders is that this device will belong to the ultra-premium tier and, as such, it will be priced even higher than the iPhone 18 Pro Max. According to a report from Instant Digital, despite the steep price, Apple will not offer increased base storage; the foldable iPhone will start with 256 GB of storage, similar to other models in its lineup, and there will not be a 2 TB version available.

Pricing Speculations for the New Foldable iPhone
A leaker has suggested potential prices for the new model in yuan, though it’s unclear whether these figures are mere speculation or if they stem from insider information from Apple’s suppliers. When converted to euros, considering Apple’s current unfavorable exchange rates, the prices could be quite steep: €2,399 for the 256 GB model, €2,699 for the 512 GB variant, and €2,999 for the 1 TB model.
These prices represent a €300 increase at each storage level, up from the current €250 increment. This hike wouldn’t be surprising given the ongoing memory crisis in the tech industry. The foldable iPhone would thus command a considerably higher price than today’s Pro Max model, which starts at €1,479. However, these speculated figures should be approached with caution for now.
