Apple Vision Pro App Expands to iPad
Apple has announced that the Apple Vision Pro app, previously exclusive to the iPhone, will soon be available on the iPad with the release of iPadOS 26.1. The announcement came via a press release introducing the new Apple Vision Pro M5 model released yesterday. Originally launched in February with iOS 18.4, the app offers users a variety of features, including the ability to queue apps and games for download, explore new spatial experiences and content, receive useful tips, and quickly access information about their device directly from their iPhone.
iPadOS 26.1 Update and Features
Currently in its beta phase, iPadOS 26.1 marks the return of the Slide Over feature and is expected to be finalized and released by the end of October or early November. Users looking to experience Apple Vision Pro can find the app available for free on the App Store.
