Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro Launch Date Revealed: Here’s What We Know!

The Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are being hyped by the manufacturer, who has announced a launch date and is boasting about their photographic capabilities.

The Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro are soon to make their debut in Europe. The brand has scheduled a launch event for September 24, 2025 in Munich. While the company has not specified which smartphone models will be unveiled, it shared an image supposedly taken by the Xiaomi 15T Pro in a separate tweet. Given that the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro were also released in late September last year, there’s little doubt that the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro will be the stars of the show.

Xiaomi has revealed that its 15T Pro features a periscopic telephoto lens with a focal length equivalent to 115 mm, which translates to a 5x optical zoom. Recent leaks suggest it will also have a main 50 MP sensor with an f/1.62 aperture, along with a 12 MP ultra-wide lens at f/2.2. The Xiaomi 15 will sport a main 50 MP module at f/1.7, the same ultra-wide as the Pro model, and a 50 MP telephoto lens at f/1.9 with 2x optical zoom.

The Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro Are Strong Mid-Range Contenders

Both devices are expected to feature the same 6.83-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and brightness peaking at 3200 nits. The Xiaomi 15T Pro is likely to be slightly heavier and thicker than the standard Xiaomi 15T, despite having the same battery capacity (5,500 mAh). However, the charging speed should reach 90 W on the Pro and 67 W on the standard version.

When it comes to performance, the Xiaomi 15T Pro is better equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 in the Xiaomi 15. Both models should come with 12 GB of RAM and two storage options: 256 and 512 GB. The Xiaomi 15 is expected to start at 649 euros, with the Xiaomi 15T Pro starting at 799 euros.
