A Unique Promotion Stunt with Tim Cook and Formula 1
While it’s not the first time, it certainly remains a rarity: Tim Cook has personally engaged in a promotional effort to boost the visibility of Formula 1 streaming on Apple TV. In a recent commercial, he was featured driving a small cart. After making a pit stop amidst the paths of Apple Park, he then raced against Max Verstappen, who was fully helmeted and driving his actual Red Bull RB16B vehicle. Just last week, Apple TV initiated the broadcast of F1 in the United States.
Tim Cook in Apple TV’s Promotional Campaigns Before
Back in January 2025, Tim Cook had already made an appearance in a promotional clip for Apple TV, this time to promote the second season of Severance. In this earlier promo, he utilized the iconic elevator from the series to undergo the “severance” procedure. Subsequently, he was greeted by Seth Milchick who showed him his first training video on his first day at Lemon Industries.
