All Galaxy Watch models from 2025 will start with One UI 8.0 Watch, the latest version of Samsung’s dedicated smartwatch overlay. Based on Wear OS 6, it unsurprisingly emphasizes artificial intelligence, particularly to enhance the accuracy of various health measurements. The watch will suggest an ideal bedtime based on your profile, along with tips to help you fall asleep. The Now Bar, introduced with the Galaxy S25, will also be featured.

Runners will enjoy a brand-new dedicated coach. In addition to real-time advice and encouragement, it can provide training tailored to achieve a set goal, such as running a marathon. The coach also ensures that your training sessions are effective, checking that you are not running too slow or too fast for your optimal pace. To help you track your progress, it will assign you a runner level from 1 to 10.

Finally, it’s worth noting the introduction of new measurements. The vascular load will assess your body’s stress level based on various parameters like sleep, while the antioxidant index will provide your carotenoid level. Samsung notes that this is an antioxidant thought to reduce aging.

Pricing and Availability of the Galaxy Watch 8

As noted, the prices for the new models are higher, ranging from an additional 50 to 60 euros compared to the 2024 models. Here’s what Samsung has announced for France:
