As the no code development sector gains momentum, what are the benefits of training in this field? Insights from Françoise Daël (ifocop) and Philippe Pasquali (C-Level Advisory and Éstiam) shed light on this question.

Pioneering in the digital fields with a range of training covering numerous areas (web development, community management, web design…), the adult professional training organization ifocop has partnered with Éstiam, a school specializing in IT and digital technologies, to offer learners their combined expertise in career transition and no code development. This approach, increasingly sought after by companies, democratizes application creation, process automation, and access to AI. Here are five compelling reasons to not miss out on the no code trend by enrolling in the No Code Developer program, offered by ifocop and Éstiam (associate degree level).

Training to Become a No Code Developer

1. Transitioning to a No Code Developer, a Career of the Future

In a professional setting characterized by a shortage of talent in web development, France Compétences has included no code in its updated list of occupations termed “emerging or evolving for 2025“, thus confirming that the field is currently experiencing significant growth in the job market. “In recent years, no code has become essential in businesses, from small enterprises to large corporations and IT service companies (ESN). This new category of digital tools is revolutionizing traditional work models and processes,” the organization notes. Françoise Daël, Director of Marketing and Products at ifocop, shares this observation:

In the job market, this career is developing. Our goal is to train individuals with a return to employment rate that is over 80%, through a promising segment.

Philippe Pasquali, President of the consulting firm C-Level Advisory and a member of the strategic and scientific orientation committee at Éstiam, also observes the tangible benefits of no code within companies, offering the ability to design digital products via graphical interfaces without needing to code.

IT departments are constantly being challenged by their management regarding their cost and thus their overall efficiency. We’ve seen several successive revolutions, especially in methods, where we’ve moved from V-model and waterfall to faster cycles increasingly involving users. However, the productivity gains were not as expected.

No code has its roots and concepts in the many graphical languages available long before the 2000s. In the 2010s, the standardization of HTML5 and the rise of APIs allowed for the creation of more powerful and robust platforms, leading to the emergence of no code, the expert recalls. “Anything that allows for faster and more efficient production is always of interest to companies. The principle here is simple: it involves plugging together different blocks that we have at hand to perform the desired action. A good understanding of available modules allows for rapid progress by leveraging already tested blocks, which limits, if not eliminates, technical bugs. Experts can thus focus on the functionalities to be implemented rather than on the technical aspects.”

2. Gaining Comprehensive Expertise Without Technical Prerequisites

The profession of a no code developer is advantageous as it does not require prior coding knowledge. The training offered by ifocop in partnership with Éstiam covers both the development of a website or application using no code, as well as the creation of web front-end interfaces with no code tools, and the design of advanced back-end logic with API connections to a no code front. You will learn the fundamentals of development throughout the program, acquiring comprehensive expertise in no code, from front-end to back-end, including project management and web design.

This is interesting for those undergoing career transitions, as the prerequisites are relatively accessible for this type of job. It requires no technical skills, just a high school diploma. And the expected skills are quite broad: an interest in new technologies, in innovation, logical thinking, proficiency in Windows, web browsers, and some understanding of algorithms, explains Françoise Daël.

This career is particularly suited to a reconversion project as it welcomes all types of individuals, as Philippe Pasquali also confirms. “No code is indeed for everyone. If you’re not a web development expert, you can still learn to do many things, like automating client appointments or deploying applications. Conversely, I think a computer scientist can benefit more, thanks to deeper knowledge in programming languages. They can fill in the gaps of the technology with their own development on the side. This approach benefits both audiences.

By developing this expertise in no code, those who are relatively new to computer science will be able to deliver products more easily and quickly, while more seasoned developers can add a new skill to their repertoire, thereby unlocking new professional opportunities.

When working in computing, you seek to develop with the best solution, the best technology in the market, to meet a need. Developing with Java or Python is good. When you have the opportunity to do the same thing in a quicker and more efficient way, that’s even better. For this, you first need to think about what you want to achieve before diving into no code. Once you have all the elements in hand, and you’ve learned to identify and manipulate the different blocks, the principle is very practical because you quickly see what the final product will look like.

3. Managing Complex Digital Projects and Mastering No Code Tools

Another benefit: the No Code Developer training opens the door to this discipline, avoiding several years of study in the field, while meeting the current needs of recruiters in the job market. Thanks to the training in essential job skills in no code development, you will be able to manage complex digital projects and master specialized tools in the market.

Depending on the actions where no code can intervene, according to our expert from Éstiam, you will efficiently use:

  • platforms that facilitate the integration of external APIs “to serve as the cement between several modules“, like Zapier or Make “among the most well-known“,
  • tools for exploiting databases, such as Airtable,
  • and, on the front-end part, for creating smartphone or web-adapted applications, or both, tools like Bubble, Glide, or Adalo stand out, as does Webflow, “which is a tool used by all web agencies to create sites ranging from simple landing pages to very complex sites.

More and more tech players have adopted no code. ERP systems (or integrated management software, in French), such as SAP, Salesforce, Sage, and Oracle, incorporate no code into their functionalities. Microsoft also has its no code platform, known as Power Apps.

And in terms of AI, no code also offers another significant advantage because it integrates perfectly with this technology. “No code is the best way to introduce AI into the company. “You won’t have to choose between no code and AI, as you can use both without delving into the complexity of language models,” adds Philippe Pasquali.

4. Quickly Enhancing Skills to Become Operational in the Business World

Among the other strengths of this training are the quality of the instructors and the support of the educational teams throughout your course. The program, which is project-oriented, with the completion of practical cases and a digital project to present, allows you to quickly enhance your skills in no code.

This is a short training program, relying on very operational courses intensively for 4 months. Then, you are immediately thrown into the deep end with practical application within a company for the following 4 months. As a result, the practical cases you work on enable you to be operational by the time you step into your host company, continues the director of marketing and products at ifocop.

Your job skills are immediately marketable, providing a concrete opportunity to enter a growing sector. “With this period of applying your knowledge in a company, you will be able to justify the skills acquired to your future recruiters. This first experience is essential today and allows for an easier launch.

5. Earning a State-Recognized Professional Certification

By following the No Code Developer training, which is eligible for CPF, you will earn a professional certification issued by ifocop and registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP) at level 5, equivalent to an associate degree. This professional title is recognized by the state and businesses. It is worth noting that ifocop is currently processing a file to continue your journey as a product builder, with an RNCP title at level 6 (bachelor’s degree). And, if you want to continue in this direction, note that Éstiam also offers a Master of Science in No Code Creation (level 7, equivalent to a master’s degree).

Upon completing your course, you can work as a no code developer in a company, as a freelancer, or in a specialized agency. Still hesitant about transitioning into this job-rich field? Advice from Philippe Pasquali: “Whether you are a computer scientist or not, you will be surprised at what you can achieve in a few weeks with no code and AI.”

Several start dates are available for the end of 2025 at ifocop centers:

  • November 6, in Paris 13th district
  • December 1, in Villeneuve-d’Ascq (59)
  • December 9, in Montigny-le-Bretonneux (78)

If you have a penchant for innovation and new technologies, do not hesitate! It’s a great way to relaunch your career by choosing a future-proof profession, and at the same time, it is particularly open to people undergoing career transitions, concludes Françoise Daël.
