Following the start of pre-orders for the new iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro this Friday, Apple has published the repair costs for these models, which will officially be available on September 19. This allows customers to understand what they might expect to pay for accidental damages or the eventual battery replacement after a few years (though these prices may increase in the meantime).

iPhone Air

As expected, Apple is using the announcement of these repair costs to promote its AppleCare+ insurance offers: in the event of damage, the costs are reduced to a deductible of €29 for the screen or back glass (or €58 for damage to both), €99 for camera repairs, or €99 for other damages requiring a complete phone replacement. Battery replacement is also free if its capacity falls below 80%. AppleCare+ can be purchased as a monthly subscription or a one-time payment for two years of coverage. There are two plans available, one with and one without coverage for loss or theft, as outlined in the table below:
