Apple Releases Update for Apple Watch
Last night, Apple released watchOS 11.6.2, an update aimed at fixing bugs in the previous version of the Apple Watch’s operating system. This update is applicable to Apple Watch Series 6 through Series 10, Apple Watch SE 2, and both the Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2 models. Users who have already upgraded to watchOS 26 are not affected by this update.
Apple has specifically mentioned that the update resolves an issue that could prevent cellular connection to emergency services in Australia. Additional fixes are included in the update, though Apple has not provided a detailed list of these corrections.
