iOS and macOS 26.5: Fourth Beta Released – Discover What’s New!

Une quatrième bêta pour iOS et macOS 26.5
A week following the previous updates, last night Apple released the fourth beta versions of iOS 26.5, macOS 26.5, and its other operating systems. Once again, no significant changes were observed in these latest beta releases compared to the earlier versions. The official release is anticipated around mid-May, suggesting that the Release Candidate versions could be released within the next one to two weeks.

The updates identified in these upcoming releases are relatively minor. Notable among them is the reintroduction of encrypted RCS testing between Apple and Android devices, the inclusion of Live Activities in notification sharing with third-party devices in Europe (currently under trial), the addition of a “Suggested Places” section in Maps which lays the groundwork for incorporating advertisements in the United States and Canada (a warning message has already appeared in the US), automatic Bluetooth connection setup with an accessory like the Magic Keyboard when connected to an iPhone via USB-C, and support for the Inuktitut keyboard layout, which is one of the main Inuit languages in Canada. The final version is also expected to include a new Pride Luminance watch face in watchOS 26.5.
