Another intriguing find in the new audioOS files is the mention of a new device identified by AID12007. It remains unclear whether this refers to a new version of the HomePod mini, a larger HomePod model, or something entirely different. The setup discussed involves two larger HomePod 2 models at the front and two AID12007 models at the rear.

The code also reveals a new “Party Mode” aimed at stereo setups. This mode enables a type of audio rendering that creates a broader, more immersive ambiance. The goal is to produce a more evenly distributed sound throughout the space, rather than focusing on creating an optimal listening zone directly in front of the speakers.
