Having long focused on value with its C89 series, TCL is now looking to carve out a niche in the high-end TV market. In 2026, the manufacturer has revamped its X11 series, which was previously only available in very large sizes and hard to find at physical retailers; the X11L addresses this issue and is positioned clearly above the C89L in the manufacturer’s lineup.
The specifications are impressive: SQD-Mini LED backlight technology, a very large number of backlight zones, claims of over 10,000 cd/m² (under certain sizes and conditions), a sleek design, a Bang & Olufsen audio system in the form of a small soundbar at the bottom of the screen, 144 Hz, 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs, Google TV, and a dash of artificial intelligence.
The series comes in three sizes: 75 inches at about 4,300 euros, 85 inches at about 6,500 euros, and 98 inches at about 9,000 euros.
TCL aims to offer a credible alternative to the best OLED TVs on the market, starting with the LG G6 and the Samsung S99H, and also to directly challenge competing RGB Mini LED models like the Samsung R95H, the Hisense UR9S, and the Sony Bravia 9 II, our new benchmark in the LCD TV market.
