iOS 26.6 Introduces Blocked Contact Limit Notification
In the latest beta release of iOS 26.6, a new feature has been noted by MacRumors that alerts users when they have reached their maximum number of blocked contacts. The alert message reads, “You have reached the maximum number of blocked contacts. To block additional callers, please remove a blocked contact in Settings”. This notification was spotted for the first time after the beta version was rolled out to developers last evening.
Understanding the Blocked Contact Limit
The revelation from MacRumors also brings to light that there is a capped limit on the number of contacts users can block, which is set at 20,000. Previously, Apple had not disclosed any information regarding this limit. To manage or remove blocked contacts, users should navigate to Settings > Apps > Phone > Blocked Contacts.
