iPhone 17 : l'Apple Event de rentrée se tiendra le 9 septembre
Apple has recently issued invitations to the media for its much-anticipated “Awe Dropping” fall Apple Event, which is set to take place on Tuesday, September 9, at 10 AM in Cupertino, corresponding to 7 PM in mainland France. True to form, the event will be broadcast live on Apple’s website, through the Apple TV app, and on YouTube. This year, the company is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup and a completely revamped range of Apple Watches. There’s also potential for announcements related to the AirPods Pro 3.

As is customary around this time each year, Apple is gearing up to introduce its latest iPhone series. This season, it’s all about the iPhone 17, which will feature four new models, including an ultra-sleek and lightweight design intended to replace the Plus model between the standard iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Pro. This new model is likely to be called the iPhone 17 Air. As usual, we can anticipate a host of upgrades, particularly in terms of camera capabilities, processors, displays, and the chassis of the Pro models. Key rumors about these enhancements can be found in this article.

New Apple Watch models are also on the horizon. This year, Apple plans to refresh its entire lineup with the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. Expectations include new processors, improved displays, 5G support for cellular models, and satellite connectivity for the Ultra model. A major uncertainty this year is whether Apple will introduce a long-rumored blood pressure monitor, which reportedly has been challenging to perfect. You can find more details about these rumors in this article.

Apple is also poised to reveal its new AirPods Pro 3, anticipated in time for the holiday season. Highlights of these upcoming models include a heart rate sensor (already in use in the Powerbeats Pro 2), enhanced active noise cancellation technology, and a new chip that improves energy efficiency, likely boosting battery life.

There could also be some additional hardware surprises with the release of AirTags 2, a new Apple TV equipped with the A17 Pro chip, and an updated HomePod mini featuring a more recent chip. These last two devices are expected to be the first to incorporate Apple’s internally developed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip. They might also be closely integrated in software terms: the new HomePod mini could leverage the processing power of the Apple TV to support Apple Intelligence’s upcoming more conversational Siri.

Finally, Apple is expected to use this event to finalize and announce the release dates for its new systems equipped with the Liquid Glass interface, first introduced at the WWDC in June. As of now, iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26 are scheduled to launch sometime in September.
