Not only iOS 19 and macOS 16 are set to sport a new look this year: according to Mark Gurman at Bloomberg today, Apple also plans to introduce a redesigned watchOS 12 and tvOS 19 for the Apple Watch and Apple TV, respectively. All of Apple’s operating systems would thus adopt a sleek, glassy design with reflective elements already seen in visionOS. Additionally, Apple would use this opportunity to update some interface elements on the system of the Apple Vision Pro.

These upcoming updates will be unveiled at WWDC on June 9th. The systems will then spend the summer in beta version before the final release in September. The redesigns of iOS and macOS are in preparation for the launch of two significant hardware innovations: the first folding iPhone expected next year, and the first Macs with touchscreens, which could also debut by the end of 2026.
