Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 Review: Triple-Laser Projector Brightens Your Living Room

July 17, 2025

Test du Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 : un vidéoprojecteur triple laser qui illumine votre salon
This triple laser DLP model aims to turn your living room into a real cinema. Will it have the capability to stand out as an indispensable choice in the high-end projector market?

The Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 is an Ultra HD projector based on DLP technology with a 0.47-inch DMD chip and a triple RGB laser light source. This compact, cubic lifestyle model builds on the same technological foundations as the Hisense C2 Ultra, a projector already known for its solid performance and practical design. We had tested the Hisense C2 Pro.

Its advertised brightness of 3000 Lumens ISO promises bright images, even in well-lit environments, while its dynamic contrast ratio of 15,000:1 is supported by an Enhanced Black Level function aimed at deepening blacks for more detailed dark scenes. Its intended particularly wide color coverage and numerous adjustment possibilities should make it a very refined model with the aim of offering accurate colors right out of the box.

The VisionMaster Pro 2 uses a classic optical system with a manual zoom offering a projection ratio ranging from 0.9:1 to 1.5:1, making it versatile in terms of installation and projection distance. It can project images from 40 to 300 inches diagonally, allowing great flexibility of use in different spaces.

Priced at 2990 euros at the time of this test, it is therefore in direct competition with models like the Hisense C2 Ultra and the Leica Cine Play One.

The Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 projector tested was loaned to us by the brand. It was tested in conjunction with a Lumene Movie Palace UHD Platinum 300C screen, a model specifically designed for home cinema projectors. Measurements were carried out with professional equipment adapted and in front of the screen to limit errors and offer values in accordance with what the viewer can actually see. This protocol is identical for all projector tests to enable comparison.

Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2Design, a Compact Cubic Model

The Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 features a compact, cubic design that is stylish and designed to integrate seamlessly into a modern living room. Its simple and clean silhouette stands out from more traditional, bulkier projectors while maintaining a strong presence.

The robust casing has a glossy finish that gives it a premium look, but it also tends to attract fingerprints easily. Another minor inconvenience observed is the reflection of certain lights on its chrome scratches, especially on the top part. Within this area, note the presence of a push-button to cut off the microphone of the device for privacy reasons.

Otherwise, the lines are clean and the angles well-defined, creating a beautiful aesthetic that matches most interiors.

The front houses the projection lens, discreetly integrated into the overall design, while the ventilation grilles are strategically positioned to optimize heat dissipation without compromising the device’s overall design.

Below, the projector rests on two screw-in feet at the back. The problem is, there are no stops, which means that if they are unscrewed too much, they come out of the thread. Otherwise, there is another foot, positioned towards the front, this one being quite wide, which can be oriented at different degrees to find the most suitable for your installation, which we will come back to later.

Some may regret, as is the case with the Hisense C2, for example, the absence of a standard rocker foot that would offer more flexibility in positioning. However, the device has a central universal screw thread, which allows it to be mounted on a suitable stand, especially for upside-down installation. This screw thread can also be used to mount it on the stand sold separately by the brand. It is a very well-made tripod whose head is adjustable (within reasonable proportions, however) and is available for about 300 euros.

Overall, the VisionMaster Pro 2 exudes an impression of solidity and build quality, with neat finishes and precise assembly. Note that it comes with a practical carrying case, a handy accessory that facilitates its movement while protecting it. It is also accompanied by a power block, relatively compact, at least the same size as those of laptops.

Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2Connectivity, Everything You Need

The Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 offers a complete range of connections that meet the demands of the most discerning users. At the back of the device, there are two HDMI 2.1 inputs that allow you to fully enjoy 4K content at 60 Hz and even 120 Hz for video games, as well as an HDMI 2.0 input compatible with eARC for audio return to a soundbar or an amplifier.

The projector also has two USB ports (one USB-A 3.0 and one USB-A 2.0) for playing multimedia content or connecting peripherals. An optical digital audio S/PDIF output and a mini-jack audio socket complete the audio connection options, offering great flexibility for integration into an existing home cinema system. Thus, you can easily connect a headset.

For network connectivity, the VisionMaster Pro 2 is equipped with an Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2, ensuring broad compatibility. These wireless connection options also allow you to enjoy streaming and screen sharing features without the constraints of wiring.

The layout of the connectors is well thought out, with easy access to all ports, which facilitates installation and any configuration changes. This wealth of connections positions the VisionMaster Pro 2 as a versatile solution, capable of adapting to different usage scenarios, from simple movie watching to advanced gaming.

The Remote, Semi-Backlit

The remote provided with the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 is ergonomic and offers various relevant features. It has a rather elegant and compact design that fits comfortably in the hand, with an intuitive button layout that facilitates navigation.

The major asset of this remote is its backlighting, which allows for easy use in a dark projection room. However, not all buttons benefit from this feature, which can sometimes complicate access to certain controls in complete darkness.
