iPhone Air’s eSIM Delayed: Free Pro Subscribers Must Wait!

L'eSIM de l'iPhone Air pas tout de suite chez Free Pro
This illustrates why Apple’s phased approach to phasing out the physical SIM card for iPhones sold in France was a wise decision. There were indeed rumors suggesting that the shift to eSIM technology would be complete in Europe this year, but the three iPhone 17 models released in Europe still include a SIM card tray. The iPhone Air, however, solely relies on eSIM technology to maximize battery life, and its introduction is pushing carriers to finalize its support.

As it stands, the iPhone Air cannot be used with Free Pro. According to iGeneration, eSIM technology is not yet available for business and professional users under Free’s Pro plan. However, the carrier has announced through its customer service that it expects to launch the service by the end of the year. If Apple plans to expand eSIM usage across its next generation of iPhone 18s expected next year, the iPhone Air will have paved the way.
