Significant Price Reductions for the Latest iPad Mini in 128 and 256 GB Versions
The most recent iteration of the iPad mini is now available at significantly reduced prices for its 128 and 256 GB models. The price for this device starts at 549 € instead of 609 € at retailers such as Amazon and Cdiscount in selected colors, offering a saving of 60 €. However, for those willing to spend a bit more, the 256 GB model in black and mauve has dropped to 599 € on Amazon, down from 739 € at the Apple Store.
This represents a substantial saving of 140 € on the smaller tablet—discounts like these are quite rare—and it also guarantees a good amount of storage for just 50 € more, even though 128 GB is already quite sufficient for most needs.
This price drop also makes it more feasible to consider adding the Pencil Pro, which is compatible with this iPad and currently priced at 129 € instead of 149 € on Amazon. Alternatively, there is the Pencil USB-C available for 66.50 € instead of 89 €, which is adequate for sketching and note-taking (it attaches magnetically but charges via USB-C). Additionally, one might consider acquiring a Smart Cover; for instance, the Denim color option is priced at 57.89 € rather than 69 €. There are also less expensive options available from third-party brands.
The iPad mini 7 (or A17 Pro, named after its processor) was released last fall. It retains its conveniently compact size but has increased in power with a processor (the same one used in the iPhone 15 Pro) that enables Apple Intelligence features. It also features upgraded Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities and has eliminated an unattractive screen refresh effect seen in the previous model when scrolling through pages. Overall, it’s a great tablet that’s easy to carry around, now offered at much more attractive prices.
