Apple Invitations App Receives a New Update
The Apple Invitations application was updated yesterday. The latest version, 1.4, introduces a new widget that “allows you to view the time remaining until your next event right on your home screen.” The countdown widget clearly displays the number of days left along with the event’s title and image.
The Apple Invitations app was originally launched in February and is specifically designed for creating, sending, and managing event invitations. While anyone can receive and respond to the invitations, issuing them requires a subscription to iCloud+ (starting at €0.99 per month for 50 GB of storage). Apple Invitations can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
