Adobe lance l’application Premiere sur iPhone : ce qu’il faut savoir

Adobe’s video editing software has now launched a free version specifically designed for iPhones, catering to mobile usage and compatible with Premiere Pro on desktop systems.

Following the release of Photoshop for mobile devices in February, Adobe continues to expand its mobile offerings by introducing its renowned video editing software, Premiere, to the iPhone. This version is tailor-made for smartphone usage, providing a quick, free, and user-friendly solution for content creators.

Introducing Adobe Premiere for iPhone: A Free, Mobile-Friendly Version

Designed with smartphone video editing in mind, Premiere for iPhone offers free access to all the core features of the desktop video editing tool but in a simplified interface suited for touch interaction. The aim is to enable users to create, edit, and publish videos directly from their phones without needing a desktop computer.

With Premiere on iPhone, Adobe delivers the same creative power that millions of Premiere Pro users—film-makers, designers, animators, and YouTubers—already enjoy.

Adobe has ensured that the app is free from advertisements. Optional paid features include cloud storage and the use of credits for Firefly, Adobe’s proprietary generative AI.

The app is currently available for pre-order on the App Store and will roll out starting Thursday, September 4, 2025.

A Mobile Editing Tool and Studio Built for Creators

Premiere on iPhone is distinguished by its mobile-friendly design and advanced editing features. Users will be able to:

  • Work on a dynamic multi-track timeline with frame-by-frame precision,
  • Add unlimited layers of video, audio, and text,
  • Automatically generate stylized subtitles,
  • Enjoy HDR 4K support,
  • Start a project on iPhone and continue on Premiere Pro,
  • Directly export to platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram, with automatic video cropping.

Start your projects on iPhone, instantly export to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram with a single tap, or continue editing in Premiere Pro for more detailed work. The app automatically adjusts video sizes for the platform while keeping the main action in view.

The app also offers a vast catalogue of ready-to-use resources, including stickers, fonts, music, and images. Firefly is incorporated to enable the creation (or removal) of visual elements.

Moreover, Adobe has included a mobile recording studio feature. Users can record voiceovers and automatically enhance their quality with the ‘Enhance Speech’ feature, which reduces background noise. It’s also possible to generate sound effects from the voice.
