Salaires dans l’informatique et le digital : les rémunérations en 2026

Silkhom, a recruitment consultancy, has released the latest edition of its salary barometer for the IT, digital, and electronics sectors for the year 2026. This study is based on data from over 25,000 candidates analyzed by the firm’s consultants from 2019 to 2026.

Below, you will find the salary levels for positions in management and executive roles, web and mobile development, IT infrastructure, management tools (ERP, BI, CRM), data, as well as design and marketing. The salaries are presented as annual gross figures (in k€) and are divided into three geographic zones: Paris, major French cities (Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Nice, Nantes, Montpellier, Strasbourg), and other regions.

2026 Salaries: Management and Executive Roles Lead the Way

Management and executive positions continue to earn the highest salaries in 2026. Chief Data Officers top the list, earning an average of €129,600 annually. They are followed by VP Engineering and VP Product, both earning around €118,800 on average. The Director of Information Systems (DSI) averages €108,300 but can go up to €160,000 for a senior profile in Paris. The Technical Director (CTO) has seen a salary increase of 5.8% over the year, reaching €90,800.

As in the previous year, marketing-oriented roles lag behind other executive functions. A digital marketing manager caps at an average of €52,900 and struggles to surpass €55,000 annually outside of Paris, even with several years of experience.

Web & Mobile Development Salaries in 2026

In web and mobile development, certain profiles stand out. Technical architects earn an average of €75,300 annually, with salaries exceeding €110,000 in Paris after more than 7 years of experience. Rust developers, newly included in this year’s barometer, start at an average of €70,800, one of the highest levels among development languages. Mobile developers, both iOS and Android, show similar averages at €47,400 and €45,900 respectively, starting at around €40,000 in major cities and exceeding €50,000 after a few years of experience.

However, the general trend for most web development positions is downward. Scrum Masters have decreased by 7%, QA Engineers by 5.8%, and Cobol developers as well. Developers in Windev/Webdev and Unity have seen reductions of 4.4% and 4.1%, respectively, along with Product Managers at 3.8%. Java and Python developers, among the most common profiles, have slightly fallen by 1.1% each. Mobile development, in contrast, shows stable or slightly increasing salaries, with React Native developers seeing a small rise of 0.2%.

IT Systems and Infrastructure: What are the Salaries in 2026?

Design and governance roles remain the most valued in IT infrastructure and security. Network and security architects have seen a 2.9% increase, reaching an average salary of €74,200, ahead of infrastructure and cloud architects, who remain stable at €73,300. Two new roles have emerged this year in this field: the pentester (intrusion test engineer), at €55,000 on average, and the IAM engineer, specializing in identity and access management, at €56,700.

Conversely, more operational cybersecurity positions have seen declines. Cybersecurity engineers have seen their earnings drop by 8.8% to €55,800 annually, and DevSecOps by 9.4% to €52,800. The same downward trend is observed in systems roles, with Linux system administrators decreasing by 7.2% (€43,600) and system and network administrators by 4% (also €43,600). However, infrastructure project managers buck the trend, with a 2% increase to an average of €66,700.

Salaries for Management Tools (ERP, BI, CRM) in 2026

Jobs related to management tools report generally stable salaries this year. The application architect remains the highest-paid role, averaging €74,400 annually, potentially exceeding €85,000 in Paris after 7 years of experience. The application manager for ERP, BI, and CRM follows, stable at an average of €72,100. Conversely, development and administration roles on these tools are significantly lower, around €47,000 on average for an ERP/CRM developer or administrator.

A new entry in this category is the Salesforce engineer, a CRM Cloud integrator, emerging at €54,200 on average, one of the highest levels among non-architectural and non-management roles. The few changes observed this year are minor, such as the ERP/CRM project manager (+0.6%) and the BI engineer (+1.2%).

Data Salaries in 2026

Data remains one of the few areas where salaries have significantly increased this year. The data scientist position registers the highest rise, at +11.9%, reaching €56,400 annually, and can go up to €75,000 in Paris with 3 to 7 years of experience, and even €90,000 beyond that. Data engineers follow with a +10.1% increase, to an average of €57,600. Data analysts have a more moderate growth of 2.7%, at €48,900 on average.

This year, Silkhom has added a new role to this category: the data & AI architect, which immediately positions as the highest-paid in the field, with an average of €87,300 annually.

Design and Marketing: What are the Salaries in 2026?

Design and marketing professions continue to trail behind other tech sectors, but several roles have seen their salaries increase this year. The growth hacker records the highest increase, at +6.6%, to an average of €50,400, followed by the traffic manager (+6.3%, €47,200). The product marketing manager has a more moderate increase of +3.6%, averaging €52,400, but can reach up to €88,000 in Paris after 7 years of experience. Conversely, the community manager has decreased by 2.1%, to €38,200 annually, one of the lowest levels in the category.

The design field has seen significant renewal this year, with several new positions introduced: product designer (€53,700 on average), UX researcher (€49,900), and brand designer (€45,300).
