Apple to Double MacBook Neo Sales: Surpassing Expectations!

Apple devrait vendre deux fois plus de MacBook Neo que prévu

Apple Underestimated the Demand for the MacBook Neo

At the start of the month, Tim Culpan reported that Apple had initiated a new wave of A18 Pro chip production and instructed its suppliers to gear up for the manufacture of 10 million MacBook Neo units, doubling the initial forecast of 5 to 6 million. Now, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has echoed this scale of production, suggesting that the figures could indeed climb from 5 million to 10 million by the year 2026. This projection is supported by the orders placed with Sunny Optical, the company responsible for supplying webcams for the model, which is likely delighted by the increased demand.

Delivery Times Reflect High Demand

Originally, the delivery times for the MacBook Neo at Apple Stores had extended up to a month. Now, they have somewhat reduced to two weeks, yet this still indicates a high level of demand especially with two months left until the MacBook Neo’s release. This sustained interest likely aligns with the upcoming summer season, a critical time for tech acquisitions as students prepare for the new academic year in September. Apple is also preparing to launch its Back to School campaign targeted at students, expected to start in July in France. The MacBook Neo is anticipated to continue its strong sales performance throughout the summer.
