Artemis II : Apple célèbre les selfies spatiaux
This might just be the most stunning “Shot on iPhone” campaign to date, and intriguingly, it wasn’t spearheaded by Apple itself: the astronauts of Artemis II took iPhone 17 Pro Max devices with them to the moon last week, capturing selfies that will go down in history.

Throughout the flight, Apple maintained silence and only responded after the astronauts had returned to Earth, with a statement issued on Saturday. Tim Cook extended his congratulations to the crew: “Congratulations to Artemis II on a successful mission! You have beautifully captured the marvels of space and our planet, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with iPhone photography. We are grateful that you shared these with the world. Your work continues to inspire and drive us to rethink our approach. Welcome back home!”

Apple’s marketing chief, Greg Joswiak, also expressed his delight over this exceptional promotion: “Welcome aboard to the crew of Artemis II! What an honor that NASA astronauts chose to carry the iPhone into space! A small step for the iPhone. A giant leap for space selfies.”
