SwitchBot continues to expand its home maintenance offerings. Following the K10+ Pro, the successor to the K10+, comes the SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo. This variant includes a handheld vacuum, featuring, like the robot, an automatic emptying system. The brand sticks to its proven formula with the K family. The combo remains ultra-compact, whereas an Ecovacs T30S Combo occupies significantly more space.
The K10+ Pro Combo is clearly designed for small areas or for those looking for a discreet and space-saving solution. The manufacturer takes this opportunity to make slight improvements to its vacuum robot, which is not exactly identical to the K10+ Pro. Despite its toy-like appearance, the robot is remarkably effective. It remains to be seen if the handheld vacuum is at the same level… and especially if this duo really holds up in everyday use.

SwitchBot K10+ Pro ComboRobot and Base Design: It Gains in Height
The SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo consists of three components: a handheld vacuum, a new version of the self-emptying charging base, and the vacuum robot. This last item is an exact replica of the K10+ Pro, which itself is modeled on the K10+, albeit with improved sensors.
We thus find a robot that is still charming with its white casing and compact size: 24.8 cm in diameter and 9.2 cm in height. For comparison, the competition averages around 34 cm in diameter and 9.5 to 10.5 cm in thickness. Its height also allows it to slip under much more furniture than most of its rivals.
Two physical buttons are placed on the top, and they allow starting a cleaning cycle or sending the robot back to its base. By lifting the top cover, we access the 150 ml dustbin, equipped with a HEPA filter to capture fine particles.
If we flip the robot over, we find a central brush made of rubber blades and a secondary side brush made of nylon filaments. There is still no real floor washing feature. We only have a mop holder on which wet wipes must be attached.
Only the back of the robot shows a visual change compared to other K10+ models. We can see two ports on either side of the dustbin. They are used to more securely anchor the robot to its base, especially during charging and self-emptying phases. It’s worth noting that the charging connectors are no longer external but housed inside these ports.
The handheld vacuum follows the aesthetic codes of the K10, with smooth lines and a beautiful white casing. Very light (1.17 kg), despite a power of 20,000 Pa, it almost feels, like its robot counterpart, like a toy. It measures 52.5 cm long, with a body of 8 × 12 cm. The suction tube is 40.5 cm long, 4 cm wide, and 2.5 cm thick.
Its 300 ml dustbin incorporates a cyclone system and three filters: a first stainless steel one, a second washable HEPA, and a last one located at the motor block. A side button makes it easy to open the bin for emptying. However, thanks to the base that ensures self-emptying, you should only need to use this for regular maintenance.
The handheld vacuum does not have a proper handle, but rather a shaft that also acts as a battery. The grip is not the most natural and requires some getting used to. It is clearly not a product designed for long sessions of use. On the handle, we have two buttons. The first one turns the vacuum on or off, and the second switches from normal power (8,000 Pa) to maximum power (20,000 Pa). Two LED systems complete the interface: one for the power level and the other to show the battery status.
For accessories, we have access to a main electric suction brush, a second anti-mite brush, and two nozzles (one flat and one wide). The robot and the main brush are easily placed behind the base, and a small stand allows for storing the three other tips. However, this base is not attached to the main unit; it simply sits nearby.
Despite its toy-like appearance, the K10+ Pro Combo boasts good build quality. The assembly is meticulous, the materials are sturdy, and the overall unit inspires confidence. The same goes for the handheld vacuum, with a special mention for the aluminum touches on the suction tube and on the base.
SwitchBot K10+ Pro ComboThe Base:
Unlike other versions of the K10+, the Pro Combo requires taking out a screwdriver for assembly. The operation is simple, mainly involving screwing the module dedicated to the handheld vacuum on top of the base.
Despite this, we still have an ultra-compact self-emptying base, with dimensions of 19.5 × 22 × 83 cm. No competitor can claim to do better in terms of floor space…
Aesthetically, we find the design codes of SwitchBot, with soft and balanced lines. Compared to the base of the K10+ Pro, we have two protrusions at the bottom that better anchor the robot to its base for both dumping and charging. Then, we have the handheld vacuum’s support, which is quite tall. Base plus vacuum give a total height of 1.24 m. Despite this, we have a coherent and balanced set, both visually and in practice.
The top cover is removed by pulling on a nice gray fabric tab. It gives access to the space for the 3-liter dust bag, the module for cleaning the floor with wet wipes, and a pack of 30 of these. Finally, we also have a small cleaning tool with a built-in cutter.
SwitchBot K10+ Pro ComboEmbedded Technology
The SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo is almost an exact copy of the K10+ Pro. Thus, it features in an ultra-compact format a suction power of 3,000 Pa and unchanged autonomy.
However, two elements evolve. First, the navigation system shifts from classic Lidar LDS to a D-ToF (Direct Time of Flight) radar. This better manages strong light as well as total darkness, which should, in practice, translate to greater accuracy. Another notable change is a completely revised anchoring system, as noted above.
The handheld vacuum, for its part, displays a classic design and aligns a power of 20,000 Pa, which is respectable for such a compact product and close to what the most powerful vacuum robots offer.
SwitchBot K10+ Pro ComboApplication and Management:
The SwitchBot app is essential for making the most of this K10+ Pro Combo.
SwitchBot
The brand has taken advantage of this new product to make some tweaks to the aesthetics and structure. The installation and setup process remains as simple as ever. The robot is detected automatically, add your Wi-Fi network code, and in less than 5 minutes, your robot is operational.
The home page remains clean, with an intuitive interface, but also visually austere. The map of the home occupies the majority of the screen, with, just above, the status of the robot and the level of its battery.
SwitchBot simplifies the interface by removing the side icons of functions in favor of a single one dedicated to the map. To access all the commands related to the robot and the base, you must go through the control panel at the bottom of the page. This panel allows you to choose the work surface: the entire home, a few rooms, or a zone defined by you. Before pressing the big Play button to start a cleaning cycle, click on Suction. Here, you can choose the suction power and the number of passes (one or two). If you install the floor washing module, you can then set only the number of passes.
The Function icon, to the left of the Play button, allows you to manually start a dump of the dust bin of the robot or the handheld vacuum. It is also possible to specify the power level of this operation, and whether it should be repeated each time one of the vacuums is connected to the base. Integration with voice assistants and Matter is once again available.
SwitchBot K10+ Pro ComboMaintenance and Accessories
Maintaining this K10+ Pro Combo is fairly simple. With the cleaning tool and its integrated cutter, you should treat the central brush of the robot and the handheld vacuum once a month, or more often if you have pets or if long hair is the norm in your household.
The base takes care of the self-emptying of the robot vacuum and the handheld vacuum. With a 4-liter capacity, the brand states that the bag should be replaced every 70 days.
This figure holds true if you run a suction cycle per day. However, if you actually use the handheld vacuum, or if your household is as lively as it is large, count on replacing the dust bag every 40 to 50 days. Lastly, note that the white casing of the robot and the handheld vacuum can sometimes show black marks due to bumps or friction. In most cases, a simple wipe with a damp cloth will suffice to remove them.
SwitchBot K10+ Pro ComboMapping and Navigation
SwitchBot masters the art of mapping, and just like its predecessor, the K10+ Pro Combo offers precise mapping. It does not hesitate to slip everywhere and without difficulty spots our trap room, accessible only through a slightly open door.
The division of rooms is less pertinent than what more expensive products offer. Fortunately, customizing maps, through cutting and merging rooms, is done with ease.
It is possible to create temporary cleaning zones on the fly or to define some as prohibited, such as the space dedicated to feeding pets.
In terms of navigation, the K10+ Pro Combo is a bit more skilled than its predecessor. It bumps into furniture legs less, for example, and better masters its environment. The movement pattern is classic. It starts by following the edges of the rooms, before treating the rest in a zigzag pattern.
In obstacle detection, it brushes against large objects then bypasses them. This applies to backpacks, shoes, and yarn balls. However, it may sometimes catch shoelaces or a long bag strap. For small objects, it often runs over them, socks or small toys, and can even suck them up.
SwitchBot K10+ Pro ComboSuction and Floor Washing
Suction
We launched the K10+ Pro Combo at normal power, with two passes, before confronting it with lines of cat litter, biscuit crumbs, breadcrumbs, dust, and cornstarch.
While most of the litter is sucked up on the first pass, quite a few grains remain on the floor. The same goes for biscuit crumbs. As for the cornstarch, some traces remain. On the other hand, the breadcrumbs and dust disappear completely.
The second pass allows the remaining litter, crumbs, and cornstarch to be sucked up. There may still be a few rare residues, but these are marginal.
When turned up to maximum power, most of the debris is sucked up in one go. There is still a bit of litter and biscuit crumbs left, but less than in normal suction mode. Regardless, two passes are needed for a spotless result, no matter the power setting.
We then spread residues and dust throughout a room. On hard floors, the K10+ Pro Combo sucks up between 85% and 92% of the debris. On low-pile carpets, it retrieves between 85% and 87%. However, long-pile carpets remain its main weakness, with a suction rate that does not exceed 70%.
We then armed ourselves with the handheld vacuum to tackle the same lines of debris as the robot vacuum.
It takes a back-and-forth motion, or sometimes an extra pass, to completely remove the cat litter. The power is certainly there, even if it remains lower than that of the handheld vacuum of the Deebot T30S Combo, which is almost twice as expensive.
We are therefore more lenient with this SwitchBot, which does not ask for much. Indeed, biscuit crumbs also only require a back-and-forth motion.
As for the lighter elements, the dust disappears in one pass. The situation is almost the same for the cornstarch, but sometimes a few traces remain which are erased with a final pass.
The 20,000 Pa of power do the job. Indeed, the minimal power level can prove to be a bit insufficient.
The accessories like the nozzles or the brush are quite effective. However, the lack of power, compared to a traditional handheld vacuum, is sometimes noticeable. Nevertheless, it will perfectly suit the interior of a single or a couple.
Note that the suction brush is equipped with LEDs at the front, which helps to better spot dirt on the floor in low light conditions.
In terms of noise pollution, in normal mode, at one meter, we measure 49 dB; at 5 meters, less than 42 dB; and, when changing rooms, we almost can’t hear it anymore. In Max mode, we reach 56 dB, 48 dB, and 41 dB respectively. Not completely silent, but probably one of the most discreet. However, the base is really noisy. Count up to 82 dB during the emptying of the handheld vacuum.
Floor Washing
This robot does not offer a real washing solution. It does not have an integrated water tank and is limited to a transparent plastic holder added to the back of the robot. Just before starting, attach a wet wipe and launch the floor washing process. Finally, that’s a grand term, as the result is not impressive. It fails to remove dry coffee stains, for example, or cola. If the stains are fresh, the result is worse, as it then spreads the moist substance. Its only real added value is to give your floors a bit of shine, but don’t count on this robot to wash them.
