Apple TV and Peacock Team Up in the US: Exclusive Bundle Deal Unveiled!

Aux États-Unis, Apple TV s'associe à Peacock pour un bundle avantageux
Just a few days after Apple TV+ underwent a name change, dropping the “+” from its title, Apple has revealed a new partnership in the United States with Peacock to offer a combined package featuring Apple TV at a reduced price. Owned by NBCUniversal, Peacock derives its name from NBC’s iconic peacock logo. This bundled deal is set to launch on October 20th and will be priced at $14.99 per month for both Apple TV and Peacock Premium. Additionally, there will be an option that includes Peacock Premium Plus (ad-free) for $19.99 per month.

Currently, Apple TV is priced at $12.99 per month in the U.S., while Peacock costs $10.99 with ads and $16.99 without. This new bundle pricing offers a savings of 37% or 33% depending on the chosen plan. Both companies aim to attract new customers who might not otherwise subscribe to their services at full price. “From critically acclaimed originals to must-see live sports events, the Apple TV and Peacock bundle brings together the best of entertainment in one seamless, straightforward experience,” exclaimed Oliver Schusser, head of Apple’s streaming service.

This kind of partnership is not entirely new; a similar approach has been seen in France where Apple TV has been included in the Canal+ offering since April 2023 at no additional cost. In a recent interview this week, Eddy Cue declined to disclose the exact number of subscribers to Apple TV but noted that it was significantly higher than the 45 million suggested by recent rumors.
