Apple’s 20th Anniversary iPhone to Come in Two Sizes
Apple is reportedly planning to release its 20th-anniversary iPhone in two sizes that mirror the current Pro models, according to Mark Gurman at Bloomberg. The upcoming models are expected to have screen sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches. However, these new versions will feature even larger displays as Apple intends to eliminate the bezels with a design that includes a curved screen on all four sides. This could also mean the complete integration of the Dynamic Island sensors underneath the screen’s pixels.
Model Names and Variants
Mark Gurman suggests that the models will be named the iPhone 20 Pro and the iPhone 20 Max, dropping the “Pro Max” designation used previously. These models are reportedly codenamed V73 and V74. Additionally, Apple is said to be working on an entry-level iPhone 19 as well as a successor to its foldable iPhone, which is expected to be released in September. Unlike the iPhone X launch, which skipped the iPhone 9, Apple will not be following the same pattern this time. Despite the different numbering, all these models will likely feature the new A21 chip.
