After more than three months in beta testing, the final versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26 are set to release this Monday evening. An update for the AirPods will also be available. These releases come just a few days before the launch of the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, new Apple Watches, and the AirPods Pro 3 this Friday, all of which will come pre-installed with the new software versions.

Apple typically rolls out new systems at 7 PM (local time in Metropolitan France). In the meantime, you can get ready by backing up the devices you plan to update starting today. The latest beta versions of these new systems have proven to be particularly stable, however, if you rely on your devices for professional purposes, especially if you use software that might not be fully compatible yet, it might be prudent to wait for versions 26.1 or 26.2.
