Huawei’s Pura X Max Mimics iPhone’s Foldable Design: Discover the Future of Smartphones!

Un air d'iPhone pliant pour le Pura X Max de Huawei
The new Pura X Max, recently introduced by Huawei, seems to share a few design cues with the anticipated foldable iPhone. The complete specifications will be announced on April 20, but it’s already known that the device features dimensions similar to those rumored for Apple’s version, with a 5.5″ outer display, a 7.69″ foldable inner display, and a form factor that appears optimized for video viewing.

The design closely mirrors that of the rumored foldable iPhone, including a similar rear camera setup (though the iPhone foldable is expected to have only two cameras), a centrally located punch-hole for the external display’s webcam, and another punch-hole at the top right corner for the internal display’s webcam. Unlike its Apple counterpart, which reportedly will not include Face ID due to the bulkiness of the system, the foldable iPhone is expected to feature biometric authentication through Touch ID integrated into the phone’s side button.

This screen format is likely to become more popular in the coming months: Samsung is also reportedly working on a similar design for its upcoming Z Fold 8 Wide. The very first foldable iPhone is expected to be unveiled in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. For more rumors about the upcoming foldable iPhone, you can check out this article.
