Google Unveils Gemini Enterprise: Revolutionizing AI for Businesses

Google has officially announced the launch of Gemini Enterprise, a new service designed to embed its AI models, in the form of intelligent agents, into professional environments. The company aims to compete with Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Mistral, who are also expanding their generative AI solutions for organizations.

What does Gemini Enterprise offer include?

An AI agent platform

Gemini Enterprise is introduced as an AI agent platform designed to go beyond mere conversational use and directly support business processes. It is based on the most advanced Gemini models and offers a unified environment, named Gemini Workbench, for creating, testing, and deploying agents tailored to the needs of each organization.

Companies can develop their own agents using no-code or low-code options, but also rely on a catalog of pre-built agents. Google specifically mentions Deep Research (monitoring and document synthesis), Data Insights (analysis of internal data), and customer support-oriented agents. An agent store completes the offering, allowing for the deployment of solutions validated by Google or its partners.

Secure integration into business processes

Beyond agent development, the platform is designed to integrate into the existing work environment. Gemini Enterprise connects to business documents and applications (Drive, SAP, Salesforce) and integrates natively into Workspace. In Gmail, Docs, Sheets, or Meet, AI can draft, summarize, or translate. Google particularly highlights the real-time translation of subtitles in over 100 language pairs and the upcoming feature of automated meeting note-taking.

The platform also emphasizes security and governance. Prompts, responses, and documents are not used to train models outside the company’s domain, and access is managed based on organizational rights. Availability, deployment, and roadmap

Gemini Enterprise is now available to Google Cloud corporate customers. The subscription is set at $30 per user per month with an annual commitment for the Enterprise plan, while a Business offer is available at about $21 per user per month, intended for smaller-sized organizations.

The deployment is announced globally. Google has already named several partner companies such as Gap, Figma, and Klarna, who are among the first users of the platform. The Mountain View giant also emphasizes the option to deploy Gemini on-premises, through Google Distributed Cloud. This option targets organizations most concerned with data sovereignty or security and is based on Nvidia Blackwell’s infrastructure and confidential computing technologies, ensuring that processing can occur in well-controlled environments.
