AI that helps students reclaim time for what matters

Students need gear that supports both productivity and downtime. The Galaxy Tab S12 series leans into that balance by offering AI-powered tools that speed up study routines and simplify content creation.

Gemini Notebook serves as a centralized hub for notes, images, documents, lecture recordings and more. Instead of manually combing through materials, the built-in AI can summarize content and generate study quizzes to help focus revision.

Samsung Notes integrates Note Assist, an AI feature that produces concise summaries while you continue writing or sketching. That same intelligence is available in the Samsung Browser, which can condense information from multiple tabs—open or closed—so research is faster and less fragmented.

The Multi Window capability ties everything together on the Tab S12’s vivid Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen. You can have a lecture video playing in one pane, Samsung Notes capturing your thoughts in another, and Samsung Browser running research in a third—no constant app switching required.

Combined, these features help students cut down on repetitive tasks so they can spend more time preparing for exams or enjoying well-deserved breaks.

High-end performance keeps the Galaxy Tab S12 ready for creativity

Ideas and deadlines don’t always wait for an ideal workspace, so students need a device that’s fast and reliable on the move. Equally important is a battery that lasts through a packed day.

The Galaxy Tab S12 series addresses both needs. Its new 3nm chipset delivers roughly 19% faster CPU speeds, about 17% better GPU performance and a 61% boost in NPU processing for AI tasks compared with the prior Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. A redesigned 3D Vapor Chamber cooling system helps maintain steady performance even under heavy workloads.

That responsiveness lets students work from nearly anywhere without wasting time on sluggish app loads or lag.

Battery endurance is strong as well: the Tab S12 Ultra offers around 23 hours of use, while the Tab S12+ provides about 21 hours. When the battery does run low, the optional 45W charger (sold separately) can refill the device from zero to full in roughly 95 minutes—enough time for a quick break.

Every tablet includes an S Pen, designed to be ergonomic and comfortable for note-taking and sketching on the fly. The display can reach up to 1,600 nits of brightness for clear visibility indoors and outdoors.

For students who prefer a laptop-like setup, the Pro Keyboard accessory converts the Tab S12 into a more traditional workstation, with a sturdy aluminum base, a responsive keyboard and a touchpad.

The Galaxy Store offers apps to help students learn new skills

The Galaxy Store hosts a wide range of apps designed to spark creativity, increase efficiency and help users build new abilities, all of which are easy to download on the Tab S12.

Samsung also bundles up to $600 in software benefits with the Tab S12 series, and several useful apps come preinstalled so the device is ready to use right away.

For instance, Adobe Photoshop comes preloaded with a complimentary four-month subscription. Notability is available as a note-taking option with six months free and 20% off the subsequent subscription. Creators can try Clip Studio Paint with six months free plus 20% off ongoing plans—handy tools for art, design and coursework.

Get your holiday shopping done early and confidently

If you want to cross a name off your holiday list now, the Galaxy Tab S12 is an excellent pick for students. They’ll benefit from AI features that streamline study and research, long battery life, robust performance and a broad app ecosystem to support learning and creative pursuits.
