The Deebot T90 Pro Omni follows the T80 and exhibits improvements across the board: the suction power has been boosted from 18,000 to 30,000 Pa, the washing roller has been elongated, and obstacle detection has significantly advanced.
On paper, the T90 Pro Omni seems almost too good to be true: it vacuums, mops, self-maintains, monitors your home, and even slides under furniture.

Design: Goodbye Turret, and It’s for the Better
Ecovacs redesigned the aesthetic of this generation. Both the robot and the station feature a textured shell, which is easier on the eyes and touch compared to the usual smooth plastics. The design feels less like industrial equipment and more like a natural part of the living space.
The most significant change, however, is the integration of the laser rangefinder directly into the chassis, eliminating the need for the typical turret found on most robots. The Omni station does everything expected of a high-end base: it automatically empties the dustbin into a 2.5 L bag, refills and empties the robot’s water tanks, doses detergent automatically, washes the roller at a high temperature of 75°C, and dries it with hot air at 63°C.

One of the station’s most ingenious features is PowerBoost. Each time the robot returns to wash its roller mid-cycle, the station uses the opportunity to quickly recharge it, recovering 10% of the battery in just three minutes, according to Ecovacs. This feature, combined with efficient energy management, allows the T90 to complete its cleaning cycles without running out of battery or needing long recharge breaks.
Application and Management: Rich Features, Slightly Cumbersome
The Ecovacs app offers an extensive range of settings, from room-specific configurations to water flow and cleaning sequence adjustments. However, the abundance of options can be overwhelming, with some features hidden in unexpected places and occasional interface quirks.
The app also includes an AI assistant, which aims to set up cleaning tasks using natural language. Although well-intentioned, we found it to be more cumbersome than helpful, as direct adjustments via the menu often proved faster.
A notable app feature is the remote-access camera, allowing users to view live footage from the robot, manually navigate it around the home, or even make two-way video calls—ideal for checking on pets or ensuring doors are closed.
