Official Release: Apple Updates iOS, iPadOS, and macOS
The wait is over: following last week’s premature announcement, Apple has officially released iOS 26.6.1, iPadOS 26.6.1, and macOS Tahoe 26.6.2. Initially, it seemed these updates had been launched last Monday, but they were only made available to members of Apple’s public beta program at that time. Also released were iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10, targeting older iPhone and iPad models, along with visionOS 26.6.1 for the Apple Vision Pro.
Security Enhancements in Latest Updates
These updates primarily focus on security improvements. Given the number and importance of these security fixes, it is highly recommended to install the new versions immediately if your devices are eligible.
