Apple’s 2026 Back to School Promotion Kicks Off
Apple has launched its 2026 Back to School promotion in the United States, Canada, and select Asian countries. This year’s campaign has been notably streamlined compared to the previous year. Instead of offering products like AirPods, Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard, Mouse, or Trackpad, Apple is now providing a gift card. Customers purchasing an iPad Air, iPad Pro, or MacBook Air will receive a $100 gift card, while those opting for a MacBook Pro will get a $150 gift card. Notably, the iMac is no longer included in the promotion, and the MacBook Neo is also excluded. Additionally, the promotion will end earlier than usual, concluding on August 27.
Timing and Regional Launch Differences
The Back to School promotion typically starts a few weeks earlier in North America compared to Europe. Last year, the American promotion began on June 17, while the European offer started on July 10. This year’s North American launch has occurred nearly a month later than usual. It remains to be seen whether those in France will have to wait another three weeks to access the promotion.
This annual promotional event is aimed at students, teachers, and educational institution employees. It offers an additional gift on top of the existing educational discount available on Apple’s Education Store, making it an attractive opportunity for eligible buyers.
