Apple’s support page notes that the update addresses an issue preventing MacBook Air models with M5 chips and MacBook Pros with M5 Pro or M5 Max chips from connecting to 802.1X Wi-Fi networks when content filtering extensions are in use.
If your Mac is operating on macOS Tahoe, it is advisable to install this new update. While the update is recommended, it is not urgent as it apparently does not patch any security vulnerabilities. As usual, you can find this new version in System Settings > General > Software Update.
