Apple Expands Sports App to New Regions

Apple has revealed that its Apple Sports App will now be available in an additional 36 countries and territories across Latin America and the Caribbean. To mark this expansion, the company is updating the app to version 3.8, which now includes coverage of Argentina’s Liga Profesional de Fútbol, Brazil’s Série A, Chile’s Primera División, Colombia’s Primera A, Ecuador’s Série A, and Peru’s Primera División. In response to the addition of these new football leagues, Apple has introduced a new category specifically dedicated to football to help users navigate the app more easily. Furthermore, the update incorporates tracking for both men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments.

The Apple Sports app, which has been available in France since September 2025, can be downloaded for free from the App Store. Below is a list of the competitions that the app supports:

Argentina’s football league, Brazil’s football league, Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2, Champions League, Chile’s football league, Colombia’s football league, Conference League, Spain’s Cup, Italy’s Cup, France’s Cup, Germany’s Cup, Ecuador’s football league, EFL Championship, EFL Cup, Europa League, Formula 1, FA Cup, NCAA’s FBS and FCS football championships, LaLiga, Leagues Cup, LIGA MX, Ligue 1, Ligue 2, LPGA Tour, NCAA men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, MLB, MLS, NASCAR, NBA, NFL, NHL, NWSL, Peru’s football league, PGA Tour, Primeira Liga, Premier League, Segunda División, Serie A, Serie B, WNBA, and the Women’s Champions League.
